Notice the difference? I won't even characterize it or editorialize it.

Remove guitar and abilities from the equation. Then look at the video.

Govan's humility commensurate for his abilities vs. This person's abilities and humility.

@GuitarGare Well Devin may be considered eccentric sometimes, but after years of drug abuse and being a bit of an odd dude to begin with, it's expected, I don't think any fans of his music find him to be pretentious,angry or rude. He writes good music, and in my opinion is very humble, especially considering the big egos that he's been around in previous bands and tours. I noticed your comparison between Guthrie Govan and Devin, personality wise, and while they both are very different, both are extremely humble. Devin does have strong opinions about shredding as he points out in this video though, because so many musicians/listeners just think about speed and playing 300 notes per second, like Dragonforce. It doesn't go anywhere. All Devin's music comes straight from the heart, no matter what it is, hard or soft. Yet he still respects others work.
