i am so sorry for your loss lossing a horse is one of the hardest things anyone could ever go through message me if you ever need someone to talk to im always here<3 =) goodluck
I don't normally comment on youtube, but I have to say my sad story :( I had my horse since i was 13, he was the same age as me when I bought him! sadly, when I was 20, he developed severe heaves (COPD), and was very miserable. My parents were going through a divorce and wouldn't help me with the cost of euthanization/burial/cremation. I ended up having to get someone from the local zoo to come and shoot him, and take him away for meat for the lions. Worst day of my life.
Some cheapskate people just have the horse picked up & sent to the slaughterhouse.A guy I know had that plan because his horse kicked him & I said I would pay to have the horse euthanized(if it was necessary) but I talked him out of it.Long story.
I wasnt there when she was put down, thats the part that hurt so much. She ated getting needles she hated the vet and I wasnt there to keep her calm, i didt get to kiss her soft velvety nose or say goodbye to my best friend.
Are u having a horse put down is that y u asked? I saw a few being put down. Its not easy but it is peaceful. They vet puts a needle into the neck, first they slowly drop to their knees then lay down close their eyes and look like they are sleeping.
Yeh she was getting a steroid injection at first only every six months, then every second month, then every month, then once a week until it just making her suffer so we did the only humane and hardest thing to do. :(
Yes when I first got her she was getting a steroid shot about 1 every 6 months but after a year or two it was every 3 months, then every month, thats when she went down hill too fast...

Sad... not just for you, but your parents too, they could not keep it together to as least address that problem.
Nice song BTW. I met Michelle branch twice, before and during the big time.
