@pyramydair Sorry, this is not correct. Most animals are red/green color blind, which means that the animals is unable to discern between red and green lasers. But the green light is visible to them.
hi there would this torch be powerful enough to blind a police helicopter pilot a few hundred ft in the air to result in a good helicopter crash? as i would love to catch a police helicopter crashing on film so i can send it in to DESTROYED IN SECONDS!
It was easy to install and set up on my Leupold. I wanted this for Coyotes at my friends farm. It will not work in cold weather or even cool weather. Light dims out and complete signal loss at approximately 60 degree weather! We're talking late October California night. Not that cold! it worked good across the backyard on a warm night or in my house but that was it. They suggest wrapping a warm pad around the unit but Im not a wrapper and they should show us that in the demo.
Nice "Walkonking" Butt Plate! I had Anthony 266 rebuilt my Talon and my Condor with all the trimmings!! But IM using this Laser sighter on my .223 and .17HMR for Coyotes at night! "WHERE CAN WE BUY BATTERIES TO REPLACE?"
Hey there, I have the ND-3 and the ND-3 X 50 here in the UK we shoot rabbits and fox with them. We use the bigger ND-3 x 50 for the longer range fox shooting but for all maedium to close range the standard unit rocks I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a tool to give you the edge. They spook the quarry less also this is a must have piece of kit.
@JackBahh I think the purpose of this is that you can add it to multiple scopes, with easy zeroing to the scope. So if you already have multiple scopes on different weapons, but wish to use them all at night - this solves the problem, meaning you do not need to purchase multiple NV scopes. If you mount it on a rubbish scope though, seems futile.
I was about to say the same thing as crab doctor, a night vision scope uses INFRA RED lasers, this is a green laser. This is very different. It may give the effect of night vision but it doesn't "turn a scope" into a night vision.
@JackBahh I retract my last comment partially man - I just read this one on it not being NV at all. Either way - it enables you to shoot any scope at night - but may as well just use a goddam torch! though this won't ruin your own eyes' night vision. Still, 300 bucks for a green torch.
@TheEnglishRedneck45 Thats what i mean, I have a Tesco Cree lamp, costs me £13 including mounts off eGay... Illuminates rabbits eyes further than i can shoot.... If this turned anyone of your scopes into an Infra red night vision, brilliant. But it doesn't, and they shouldn't advertise it as that!
At 6:55 you say "this will turn any scope, with a 40mm or above objective lens, into a night vision scope"
This is simply not true and grossly misleading. This product by no means turns an ordinary scope into a 'night vision' scope and is just another type of lamping equipment. It is a very nice piece of kit but I struggle to justify the extra cost over a good lamping setup which does the same job just as well.
junk in the cold, have to buy it to wee paper work showing its faults.. shit in the cold.. thousands ripped off i think...

would a 3-9x50 scope be good enought for a 22 cal co2 rifle. for hunting rabbits at 50 yard?

@cybermarine01
As long as your CO2 air rifle is powerful enough at 50 yards (would be a bit unusual for a CO2 air rifle), then the 3-9x50 scope should do just fine.
Thank you
