Realistically, piranha rarely attack humans, even when they are nearby. Nor can they or will they strip them to the bone in less than an hour, let alone a minute. And there's not a single river system in America that is warm enough during the winter to support piranha life over the long term. Don't worry, they'll never get to us here :D

Even though, piranhas have an incredible reputation for eating, they're actually quite friendly, not saying you stick your finger in a tank of piranhas, they usually strike when there is blood or extreme water disturbances mixed with blood and hunger
