I smell the scent of sakura through the poem, see the tree trunk and branches with the melody of cello, and finally touch the flower petals by the counter-melody of piano. What a beautiful song for a quiet evening...

This is the same version used by Japanese skater Yuka Sato in her performance 1999.
Julian Lloyd Webbers cello was outstanding.
The music arrangement and piano by Jason Kouchak was also a phenomenon.
Thank you very much for sharing.

This is my mother's favourite.....
I have heard this traditional Japanese folk song since I was very young.
But this is the first time I feel someone can arrange this song so beautifully!
Thank you!!!!
5 stars!!!!!

Beautiful poetry. It compliments the celo and piano so well.

I hear the beauty within sadness in this music. A feeling beyond words. Thank you
