John Saxon had a limited edition, leather-bound book with photos he took on the set of the film behind the scenes. Some great shots of Bruce and others. He even joined an actor colleague of mine in some martial arts forms. He and Bruce made friends on the set of the film, worked out at his house a few times. He was devastated when Bruce died so young. He was kind enough to sign my copy of the DVD(30th Anniversry Edition) and wrote down his website link for me. Pleasant guy.
I mentioned the many deleted scenes from this film to John Saxon two weeks ago. He was dumbfounded. I went on to tell him that 4-5 scenes were re-dubbed and used in TOWER OF DEATH and others are still in the Golden Harvest vaults. Nice guy, but his knees aren't what theyused to be.
@MonkeySun he sounds like a nice guy. i wish i could meet him. it's been a long time 1973. ENTER THE DRAGON is my all time favorite movie. those deleted scenes should have been included in the movie. the movie was about 93 minutes long. should of made it about 2 hrs. the woman in the motorcycle looked like a nice scene. well maybe in the yr. 2013 the 40th anniversary edition will include extra footage. sadly i've read that a lot of unused footage was thrown away. DAMN. enjoy.
@d4seasons Not thrown away, but used in TOWER OF DEATH aka GAME OF DEATH II directed by Yuen Wo Ping himself. Main character is supposed to be brother of Bruce's character. Has American or British fighter with light brown wavy hair and a beard/goatee.
@MonkeySun thanks for writing. i felt that the game of death & the tower of death should not have been made. using a BRUCE LEE stand in looked awful. the fans knew it. the deleted scenes for "ENTER THE DRAGON" should have been used in the enter the dragon movie. same w/ the other b. lee movies. using footage from that should have stayed put. just awful. the deleted scene where b. lee ( in the brown uniform ) should have been used. enjoy.****
@d4seasons wish someone would restore these scenes from TOWER OF DEATH with original dialogue and in the correct spots in the film ENTER THE DRAGON. A Fanedit is what I mean. That would own big time and possibly force Warner Bros to finally give us Bruce Lee fans what we always wanted...the complete unaltered ETD and a possibly DVD release of MARLOWE wouldn't hurt either.

Woah that's cool. If you look at the footage of Bruce Lee used to round out Game of Death 2, it becomes obvious that quite a lot of scenes of Bruce talking and even walking about (entering his room) from Enter the Dragon have been removed.
