Along the spotter and identifier/target painting training, I recieved basic training with light single Use RPG's 12,7mm AA gun and the finnish RK assault rifle, I also observed fresh military police candidates do what is shown on this video with a 9mm pistol after just 3½ hours of training in handling the gun.

Pro soldier has already been in combat, shited his pants all over, cryed like a baby, was beaten by the commanders - and NOW became a pro. He doesnt afraid the combat anymore, he is used to it, he can do something. There a lot of sport-shooter who could easily outshoot any of pro-soldiers - BUT they would shit their pants in a combat so their skills would be useless.

Me too i have more respect to those simple, working fathers, who will come and save their sons who serving in the army if they will be in big trouble trying to stop better trained and equiped enemy formations. Ofcause a bullet fired by 18 years old soldier kills just the same as the bullet fired by an older man. But a single trained, silent, smart colonel - just gives you a felling that you are not alone. That there is someone who knows better.
