  • I want one!!!!

  • hi,

a bought a Doepfer MCV4 to work with my korg monopoly but i can,t get figure out to put this dam thing to work

    could you help please.

  • Very nice sound

  • I thought I was clicking on a demo of a heavily modded Poly-800. I was wondering what was with all the knobs. It's Mono/Poly, I see. Rather scrumptious.

  • Very nice! It's amazing that one machine is capable of sounding so versatile.

  • I really enjoyed that

  • Little typo in the info. The composer is Klaus Stühlen (with an "h"). :)

  • God, i wish i would have this machine!! Maybe one day this masterpiece will be mine! My favourite analog synth.

  • Nice track! I still use my 1982 MP4 too!

  • Can radias sound like monopoly? thanks!

  • @remixerone god, no. only a monopoly sounds like a monopoly. radias sounds like any other digital synth made today..worthless..pretty much. no offense though

  • This gives "lets play monopoly" a whole new meaning!

  • Thats sounds really nice.

If it can do all that I'm not sure why you'd need anything else.

  • There is really so much you can discover with the MonPoly because it has the arpeggiator that can interact with the four oscillators each set to a different waveform or any combination., Two LFO's, and the effects section which can produce some insane quality sounds and also changes the way the arpegiator responds. So, it's almost endless. Thanks to digital cameras you can now take photos of your knob settings. The wheels are also extremely assignable.

  • I used to have a Korg PolySix. This sounds like it has the same bubbly filters.

  • I like that fizz sound :o)#

  • Mine's is broken at the moment...must get it fixed soon. Vids like this make me miss it soooo much :(

  • I have my MonoPoly sitting right in front of me. I bought it back in 1982, and still use it to this day. One of the most overlooked best.

  • @THESonicMMM That's awesome

  • DO WANT

  • A really nice demo!

I really like that high strumming/glittering sound!!!!!!

  • Really liking this

  • brightness and presence and harmonic fullness. seems to be the key things that you notice from an analogue sys. ^_^

  • this demo made me want to be pulling out my old mono-poly from my storeroom...

  • how does this compare with the korg r3?

  • I think it's not comparable as the MonoPoly is real analog. An the sound is also completely different.

  • Not even worth a comparison!!!

  • Really cool ..

I do appreciate the depth of this analogic sounds (especialy strings) and it's really well featured on this track.

  • Cool spacy theme...and not easy to do so with a monopoly. (the song reminds me of Buck Rogers somehow).

I know the synthesizer- series from M. Becker in keyboards- magazine anno 1990 but never heard the sound demos on "Synthesizer von Gestern (Vol1&2)"...after 19 years, it`s the first time :)

Now I have a few demos to the articles.

    thx for posting.

  • the arpegiator on poly mode with x-mod is one of my favourite things in life

  • go listen to something else then. don't spend all your time online sending out negativity.

  • u little ass !!!!!111

  • amazing.. i have a mono/poly, so i have to say that mr becker has managed to get some magical string sounds out of it. not that easy!
