The first time I saw this video and heard this song I stole a big bottle of martini mix from my parents and got tipsy while watching this over and over again. For some reason I feel like I'll remember it forever. Heh. I'm reliving that moment as i type. :D. I love Eluvium!
@BdizzleFaReal me too. I fell asleep last night with this song in my head.... I ran through such vivid emotions as I drifted to sleep.... it calls up some painful memories, and it just enhances them to the point where I actually start crying, which isn't normal. I just walked home from work this evening listening to it in my earphones, looking out at the black of the night and the sea... it makes me feel like another world is talking to me, like something is happening to me.
I'd like to go on a room that has TV screens all around, above, and under me, and I want to lay in the middle of the room with this song and video playing. How epic would that be?
I'm not going to claim I know what I'm talking about, but there is something that does sound outside the normal major/minor key within the chord sequence. It sounds very similar to a chord change in the beatles song 'across the universe'
Yes. I can't stand it, it's maddening. My favourite would have to be either Prelude for Time Feelers or Repose in Blue, or the whole of Copia. I'm not that impressed with anything else he has written.

I enjoy Eluvium very much, and own all his albums, but I find this particular song frustrating to listen to: it sounds out of tune.
Does anyone else feel similarly?

I don't get what you mean. This song is in the top 3 of my favorites, among Radio Ballet and 09.22.07[part2] (check in my videos for that song)
