  • You only take half the adhesive backing off because you use the patch for two nights. It is the amount of time next to your body that counts towards the 12-14 hours the patch lasts, not how much adhesive is sticking onto your skin. Hope that clarifies things! By the way the new patch is called LifeWave Silent Nights - and updated version of Rest Quiet - and it helps to increase melatonin production in the body.
