@kblaise I agree( well it's not my fave album) but it's one of their best,it has a special atmosphere and feeling attached to it,it is unique.Unfortunatly it's the only album with this kind of sound and it's very underrated

When I said they were the best lyrics Noel had ever written I had that exact lyric in mind, its the perfect analogy of all the hangers on that surrounded him. I dont think he's perfect and generally speaking his lyrics are nonsense, but around the SOTSOG he wrote a lot of his best lryrics

Let's get it straight. Noel Gallagher is a decent songwriter but has written some guff. This "because he wanted to" nonsense is silly. There are better songwriters out there. Noel Gallagher is an entertainer not some kind of god and I do not feel inferior to him.
