I can't get enough of this guy. I'm very glad to see he's still smiling and kickin'. He truly did his own thing. I never saw that much of him on TV or even on very many recordings back in the 80s when I was a kid. I certainly haven't seen everything he did, but from the perspective I got as just one viewer, he was hugely under-appreciated. I coveted more of his music so much that I even had a dream in which he was performing something I had never seen recorded. :)
@RoCoMANAGEMENT What happened if I may ask? Here in the US pretty much all of the information we have on Taco is just regarding him as a one hit wonder and that is not at all the case. Taco is very under appreciated and that is unfortunate because I can see that he clearly has major star written all over him!
@papillonaquatique It has a lot to do with record companies politics! Taco was signed to a publishing company and not to RCA directly at that time and to prolong a continuous carreer in the States would have meant moving and living in America which he was not willing to do back then!
@RoCoMANAGEMENT That is understandable. I would be partial to my home country too. I think in the long run that it was much smarter for Taco to not fall into the trap of fame and for him to realize that his long term happiness was more important than any contract shows wisdom beyond his years.

@DemonWizzard The main problems were his record companies as well as especially his US manager!
