The whole point of this game is that individuality trumps any sort of eugenics that "Les Enfants Terribles" might carry. The fact that Snake kicks Liquid's ass and is the one to survive all of this stuff speaks to his better ability to survive, "good" genes, or not.

Despite the fact that I could stare at Liquid's body for hours, I must say that the original version of this scene on the PSX was delivered way better than this. It's odd watching the character model go through the physical motions of ANGER while the voice is still just pouty and whiney.
