@888tho @teardropifycation the BAFTAs are essentially just a British version of the Oscars, and just as British films can be recognised at the Oscars, American films (and films from anywhere else for that matter) can be and are recognised at the BAFTAs. There IS an awards ceremony held in LA called the Britannia Awards, which is a part of BAFTA, but that's a slightly different format to Oscars and BAFTAs, and the BAFTAs are held in London.
