On the meta, it seems to be robotic and not exactly human, which suits the meta's personality. On Emile, it gives a sor of reaper-like feel, with the skull combined with his love of sharp objects (my long lost brother...!). Besides, I'm sorta glad Emile isn't like the meta >_>

@rmack1205 Actually, we know for a fact the Master Chief isn't black, because not only has been been described in the books, you actually see part of his head in one of the comics (and you see him as a kid in the "Fall of Reach" comic book remake thing).

With Emile, we've seen his face in the concept art, why would they suddenly change him? I've seen the concept art of a lot of other characters from the Halo games, and aside from some slight differences they all look like they do in the games.
