  • This is Amazing.

  • 0:13 Like a Boss

  • Why the sinister music? You think they're gonna take over the planet or something?

  • they're smarter than some of the people i've met

  • this is some freaky ass music

  • At first I thought this was a rap music video. Now I feel foolish.

  • Apes will riiiiise!!

  • What truly defines us from primates besides physical appearance is our intelect. The human brain is so unbelievably powerful beyond belief. We came from doing what these chimps are doing to flying planes, driving cars, going at unatural speeds. We are able to communicate to somebody in Japan in miliseconds. These are the results of the human brain. Could it be a result of evolution or God?

  • @DominicM14 "The human brain is so unbelievably powerful beyond belief." - Compared to what? The human brain is as amazing in it's complexity as most primate brains compared to other examples of complexity. Though it's "power" is not "unbelievably powerful beyond belief". That's just another unthoughtful sound byte.

  • @DominicM14 There is no factual evidence for God.

  • 0:13 "Sup..."

  • @gypsyqueenmaya You don't understand evolution. But you actually unintentionally made a good point. Evolution can be convergent (but not in this case), whereby homoplasy arises from shared environmental pressures, rather than through having a common lineage. As a sidenote, the DNA of all eukaryotic life is remarkably similar to each other, without even taking into account anatomical traits.

  • lol comments and I pickup stuff with my toes all the time and its easy(i can actually do many things like pinching or grabbing something and its hard to take it away from me,open/close doors) I do all that when I am lazy though. So I guess I don't have to have that wish...my comment so much funnier than those others

  • Differences between Humans and Chimps

Chimp: "I'll use this rock to crush Nut shell..."

Human: "I'll use this rock to kill..."

  • @mybuttlookslikeurfac Good thing they haven't figured that one out yet... Planet of the apes... or I mean, ...the other apes.

  • @mybuttlookslikeurfac It's really easy to villainize humans as being violent, but the reality is that the other great apes have a violent streak too(bonobos to a lesser extent). When common chimpanzees go to war(and they do) they bite the genitalia off of their enemies.

  • is it illegal to have sex with chimps, that 1 at 1:38 had a fatass

  • Man damn it. Why don't we get to have thumbs on our feet... That'd be so damn cool.

  • @TronDevlin I know! That'd be so boss! Man I pick stuff up with my toes all the time, but I have to struggle to do it lol then I'm all like "dang it I wan't opposible toes!" would make this primate's (<---- me) life much easier -,-

  • I am proud to be 98% Chimp!

  • @lion53boy Me too! WOOT! Love bein a primate!!! :D <3

  • 0:27 motorboat those monkey titties!

  • all those flea infested monkies are your relatives but they are not of my descendants. monkey see monkey doo.

  • @bloodhive You are human, so they are your relatives considering we share a common ancestor with them. Chimps are our cousins.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL, i can teach my dog many tricks that doesnt make him human.

  • @bloodhive So what? He's not a bipedal primate. That still doesn't mean he's any less. My species needs to stop being so arrogant I swear....

  • @bloodhive dont be a bonehead.

  • What is this music ? it is soo relaxing and soothing....

  • The background music makes this video creepy.

  • There not riding a segway :(

  • im in a carpentry program and thats all we do 0:50... but it seems that this chimp is a bit ahead of us, using some sort of masonry

  • @bill2318 the reason evolution is a fact but there's s till religion is because not everybody bothers to understand it and are told by there friends they have to criticize it and they tried to make evolution appear synonymous to atheism religion exist because of deluded people who are to stuck up in there believes and don't even bother to study evolution. what species were Adam and eve by the way homo sapien homo hablis or homo erectus what color was he shouldn't we all be the same color of Adam

  • these hminide cousins of mine act much more civilized than my homo sapiens pakistani cousins.

  • background music is rather disturbing!

  • Fully opposable thumbs are such an important adaptation. Imagine how lost you'd be with chimp thumbs. Modern civilization would be impossible. No art, music, writing, tools, architecture, etc. Almost everything that defines us as humans can be traced back to the evolution of our finely tuned and fully opposable thumbs

  • @ritter89 All the great apes and old world monkeys have opposable thumbs. However, chimps (at least) have a much lower range of motion in their wrists than we do, so they can't, for example, hold a large bowl in front of them and pour it toward or away from them quite as easily, among other things.

  • @tehinfidel Oh neat! I didn't know that. No wonder apes seem to look a bit stiff when holding things.

  • @ritter89 But comparing their feet to ours, they have the advantage.

  • Just wait until they turn omnivore and eat plants and meats.

500 years ago, people could climb tall buildings, weve lost that characteristic, the only 1 person who has it now is the monkey man.

  • @lbret4 are you high?

  • @VirginsPessary How so?

  • @lbret4 They are omnivorous. Though they do not eat meets like we do. But there have been reports of chimps hunting for food like bush babies and other small monkeys and animals. The main meet that they do eat are bugs and insects.

  • @Swimpro21 "meet?" really dude? jesus man that's so depressing you spelled it like that. I hope english isn't your first language

  • actually they're just acting Chimpanzees.. humans are far from this..

  • @iLLusion625 If a chimpanzee is smart enough to ACT like its recognizing itself in a mirror, than its even more intelligent.

  • @whitewolfwithblackSP dude... we all know that according to science studies; chimpanzees are highly intelligent.. and that's what they are.. nature. instinct.. gets?

  • @iLLusion625 Oh, so intelligence is instinct now?

  • @whitewolfwithblackSP yes.. that's our instinct for us human.. and so they are..

  • @iLLusion625 Your starting to make less sense than before. lol are you high?

  • whats the name of this song?

  • awesome apes are the ultimate your right there ears shave the chimpanzees ad they have the same muscles same arms almost everything

  • awesome apes are the ultimate

  • the music doesn't match the video at all ... had to mute it!

  • they will be digging up our ruins.

  • Oh yeah! I use logs to break open nuts all the time.

  • A thing that I have noticed is that homo sapiens sapiens have a lot more flat faces than our relatives. I mean look, their jaws stick out right underneath their noses when our own is much less slanted. And this would be wonderful insight on how we acted before the Monolithic/Neolithic period. But sadly I know well enough that none of us will be seeing them using stones or starting fires anytime soon. :(

  • Chimps (and possibly other great apes) also have self recognition. What other species has that?

  • @r0g3r I think you and OneEyedJack1970 are in violent agreement, just coming at it from different angles, that there are multiple intelligent species on Earth, some of them our very close relatives.

But to answer your question, so far, all of the great apes (except gibbons), bottlenose dolphins, orcas, elephants, and european magpies can pass the mirror test, and by doing so, exhibit self-recognition.

  • @tehinfidel I have come to the same conclusion. I was just in an argumentative mood at some of the things posted here regarding religion, and the idea that chimps aren't deserving of any special treatment as far as human compassion and conservation. Thanks for answering my question. I knew that elephants, dolphins and birds were all among the more intelligent animals, but off hand I didn't know how many species had self recognition. Basically 4 species besides the great apes.

  • @r0g3r Orcas, squid and octopus actually. Some scientists theorize squid will become the dominant lifeforms after people millions of years from now.

  • I assert that it's not any one behavior, but the many behaviors that chimps engage in that distinguish them from other animals. Anyone who thinks they are "unimpressive" or that we should "let them die off" is just plain ignorant, that was my only point, and I'm sorry that people have such a problem accepting chimps as our closest relatives, but DNA doesn't lie. How do we tell if two humans are related? By how close their DNA matches up. Same goes for comparing species. Indisputable FACT.

  • Monkey at 00:14 has some swagger!

  • what's up with the collars? I don't care if they track them but it looks almost depressing

  • Comment removed

  • The level of idiocy that turns a discussion of chimps to religion is simply astounding to me. Chimps are related to humans, this is a fact, it is not open to dispute and is only disputed by ignorant, uneducated morons. A 2000 year old book written by people who had never seen a chimpanzee is not relevant to the discussion whatsoever.

  • @r0g3r an ignorant perspective. Chimps have been seen engaging in many forms of altruistic behavior, a trait exclusive to our "Family" of primates. No other kinds of animals have ever been seen to do this"

    What about dolphins?

"They also make tools, and teach their young to make the tools they know how to make. Another behavior exclusive to the great apes."

Birds have been known to do this, as well. You might want to expand your education a bit.

  • @OneEyedJack1970 Chimps MAKE tools in the wild. Such as turning a stick into a brush to fish for termites. They also TEACH this to their young. They display MANY FORMS altruistic behavior, even to other species, such as feeding turtles. They hug, they kiss, they make war, they mourn the death of a loved one even unto their own deaths. They will aid a human if they understand our goals. There are many amazing animals, but only chimps are our closest relatives.

  • @r0g3r "Chimps MAKE tools in the wild. Such as turning a stick into a brush to fish for termites. They also TEACH this to their young. "

New Caledonian Crows do the same thing. Woodpecker finches use a similar trick to spear grubs. Birds are actually very intelligent.

  • @OneEyedJack1970 I agree birds are very intelligent and very amazing. That doesn't justify disparaging these magnificent animals. No one can argue that they are at the very least among the VERY FEW most intelligent species, besides man if not THE most intelligent. I can find no evidence anywhere of birds manufacturing tools in the wild (making as opposed to using) this indicates that it is not learned behavior. The similarities between chimps and humans is greatest of any species. Period.

  • @r0g3r I'm not disparaging chimpanzees, although truth be told, I think they can be vicious little bastards. Their cousins, the Bonobos, are much friendlier, as are Gorillas and Orangutans. Chimps are probably the smartest of the lot, but intelligence isn't everything.

  • @OneEyedJack1970 I don't think you are disparaging them, but others here are. That's what I was so vehemently arguing against. Not your assertions that other animals exhibit various forms of intelligence.Chimps ARE generally peaceful, yes they have a dark side, but so do we. People have lived among wild chimps with only rare occasions of violence (and no deaths) for 50 years. And none of this should have any bearing on their need for compassion and conservation.

  • @OneEyedJack1970 And yes, I know about bonobos, gorillas, and orangutans, they fascinate me as much as chimps. As do many other animals.

  • @Trickycandyfloss I remember hearing how a bunch of chimps in a zoo were given a computer, I suppose to see if any of them would type something intelligible. They just shit on it and tore it up, IIRC.

  • sounds a lot like trip hop

  • I don't know how anyone could look at an ape or chimpanzee and not think we're related to them.

  • Not very impressive so they can crush a nut and scoop up water to drink. Whenever they start using fire to cook their food then it'll be impressive.

  • @kingboru86 Many apes seem to enjoy smoking cigarettes, although I don't think they're capable of lighting them themselves. Then again, I woudln't be surprised if they can start another one off of a butt.

  • Look at their ears. Identical to ours.

  • Cave Men.

  • It's not that chimps act like humans ... rather, both humans and chimps are types of apes and all apes act in roughly similar ways, have deep seated emotional lives (as do other mammals) and are intelligent and sentient and have attachments. The differences, as Darwin said, are not differences of type but of degree.

  • what is the song?

  • Chimps eat their own poop and mouth rape frogs. Time to let this perverted species die off.

  • @jsuttonus That would be your father.

  • @jsuttonus Humans have been known to gas and incinerate their own women and children by the millions.....what of this species?

  • @jsuttonus You my friend, are a fucking retard. Time to let YOU die off. #1 Humans KILL each other over OIL and personal beliefs that have no evidence what so ever (religion). And you think apes should die off because they fling poop as an act of aggression. If you were locked in a cage your whole life, im pretty sure you would fling poop to. If apes ever go extinct, if wont be because they simply "died off" but more like "killed off". You are a no good worthless human being, people like u suck.

  • i believe in theistic evolution, but who cares, lets just enjoy the awesome chimps

  • @TheEDBShow There's no such thing. It's one thing to believe in Christianity or evolution, and it's another to actually combine the two. That's even more delusional than Christianity alone.

  • If you don't believe Chimps and Humans share a common ancestor, I don't have to believe that you have a brain.

  • That is amazing, is this real? because if it is i am astounded.

  • @TBlenx1995 Its real look uo Koko a gorilla that uses american sing lenguage to comunicate.

  • take those fkn transmitters of their necks

  • lol, the chimp on 00:15 smoked to much

  • Our ego confuses into thinking of this video as "human like" behavior, when in fact human behavior is "chimpanzee-like."

Recognize your roots and don't be afraid of them, however far back it goes, 100, or 100,000, or 10 million years.

  • yeah the planet of the ape lol

  • chimps look like old people

  • so... we evolved from this things?

  • @M34Clan8 No, we didn't evolve from Chimps. Both Chimps and humans evolved from another common ancestor.

  • @OoerBostanci

yes yes, and that common ancestor is?

  • @M34Clan8 I'm a biologist, so don't take my word for it, but I think it's the Ardipithecus, living something like 5 million years ago.

  • @OoerBostanci

just checked the net, its not the ardipithecus, maybe some other species?

  • @M34Clan8 You can believe whatever you wish. Evolution has become a theory, along with the theory of gravity. Whether you believe in evolution or not, it still remains a theory. Just remember this; there still isn't any evidence to disprove evolution, so you not believing it is your own assumption.

  • @M34Clan8 Your comment simply proves you have not read 'The Origin of Species', nor any other research on evolution. With that hindering you, you will never ask the correct questions. You're still using assumptions as proof.

  • @Kittywhiskers1000

I am very sorry, if i made you think that i am forcing my looks upon the world upon you. It is you who are who are forcing your looks, upon me, and let me tell you that it is also ,you, who is using, assumptions as proof, you can not prove an untrue fact true, whitout evidence, which your theory clearly lacks, and further more, reading the book you listed here, would doubtfuly change my opion, which stays still unreviled to you, i beg of you do not, attack me any further

  • @Kittywhiskers1000

I am very sorry, if i made you think that i am forcing my looks upon the world upon you. • i don't see how evolution is such a threat to religious people - why do they get so upset about it?

Modern Christians don't have a clue how much bullshit and evil is in the Old Testament - if they did they would abandon it very quickly.

  • Lol, religion is FAKE, made up!! The only reason people don't want to give it up is because we're all so afraid that when we die, well, then that's it. IT IS! Enjoy your life NOW and be good to others... all others, including animals because this is their one short moment in the sunshine too.

  • why do the fuk do they got those collars on

  • Caesar is home

  • @moutaz30 OMYGOSH yo made my frieken day! Best effin movie ever!!! <3

  • It's incredible to me that people believe that we didn't evolve from some sort of related species.

  • Why do i read about fucking "god" under every video with chimps or gorillas or whatever??? I wish humans were on the verge of extinction...

  • @snyderkurva :

i wish there religion was on the verge of vanishing

  • I like the two chimps that are like "What's up bro!" at 0:05 and 1:15. My favorite clip is the last one of the momma and her baby :) Great video @tehinfidel

  • If there was just one religion in the entire world it may be believable. But there isn't. There is hundreds, thousands even. How are we to know which is the real one? We can't, because (in my opinion: keyword OPINION) It's all a load of bollocks. I would rather believe in cold, hard evidence (something that the theory of evolution actually HAS) than a story about some guy that just one day decided to create an entire universe. A story that people for some reason choose to believe is true.

  • @2rok334 Well, I understand your point. I'm an agnostic so I'm down the middle honestly...But evolution is not proven, neither is "God." I actually accept the idea of a "divine force of creation" more than a random explosion creating billions of organisms on what used to be a desolate rock that now holds perfect amounts of oxygen and livable conditions.

  • @jakeisurpimp That's fair enough, I'm just saying the way animals have been proven to adapt to their environment is SOME form of proof that the theory of evolution COULD have some truth in it. I'm not saying it's definitely true. But where is the proof in any of these religion story's? There is no evidence to support religion while there is at least a little to support evolution. And I only go with what's fact. I WANT to believe that there is somewhere to go after death. But no evidence.

  • @2rok334 Right on, the only "proof" of a "God" could be the universe around us...Even if there is a "God" he is no man in the sky, rather a force of creation...But everything comes from something and I think the beauty of religion is people being able to believe in something, rather than wasting time on the constant wonder of universal origin. The human mind is not advanced enough, and doesn't have enough knowledge or experience to grasp the "universe" concept..Whatever made us, was also made.

  • @jakeisurpimp That is very true, my friend, and I think you are most correct about the human mind not being able to handle the concept of the universe. And I believe you are truly right in what you say about religion being some for of resolve to give people something to believe in. And, you are right, bottom line is we will probably never know how our universe was created because it is impossible to find out. All I'm saying is that I believe in a biological creation as opposed to a religion.

  • @jakeisurpimp :

apparently you don't understand what you are talking about, evolution does not explain the origins of the universe neither the origin of life on earth, Evolution explains how the first lifeforms changed and diversified the planet. so smart language won't be useful if you don't know a tiny bit of what you're talking about.

  • @CryoKatana97 If you would've payed attention and not have acted creepy and read my messages in the first place, this discussion wouldn't have taken place and I wouldn't have to treat you like a child. We started with evolution, and went on to talk about religion as a whole. "so smart language won't be useful"? What are you talking about? Smart Language? I'm betting you're a mountain-bred or just pathetic. I'm not an elitist, I don't usually put people under me, but you're stupid.

  • not trolling

  • A question for cheftobe555, if he is still here.

Lets see if he is for real or just a toolbag. Conservative Christians like cheftobe555 claim to support "family values" and keep on harping about gay marriage. Problem is, gay marriage is just a distraction. It redirects people away from the actual cause of the demise of the Western Marriage Contract.

cheftobe555, what is your position on:

    Alimony,

    Community Property Laws,

    No-Fault,

    Child Sup. Enforcrement?

  • ok, everybody relax here, its obvious that @cheftobe555 is trolling here...or..at least I hope he is.

  • @1hlynur It doesn't make sense that you don't believe in my God because He will keep you out of heaven if you don't believe. If you believe He won't keep you out of heaven He loves you no matter what you do. It's not just because people don't believe, it's because they reject Him as their Lord and Savior. Everyone gets their chance to believe and repent for their sins. This part is for everyone: open your eyes, see the truth, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, all you need to do is pray.

  • @cheftobe555 Stop preaching in my video comments, and answer the questions previously presented to you.

  • @cheftobe555 if he loves us no matter what we do then why does he threaten us with eternal torture if we dont belief...DOIK!!!

  • @tehinfidel I find your magic story more convincing :)

    SIgh... christian lunatics...

  • At some point in the future apes will be able to talk like we do.

    o_o call it a hunch...

  • 0:12 Pure Swagg

  • Everyone stop with the God, evolution, evidence, we are the same comments! Here is a real comment *ahem* I like the two chimps who were like "What's up Bro!" and the last clip with the momma and her baby. Go Chimps!

  • Comment removed

  • "no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • i believe in both god and evolution

  • @EpicOwnage1212 Me too! :D

  • in my hypothesis, the we will evolve to another level, and apes will become humans and humans will be zoo animals.LOL

  • Okay, stop with the rude comments people. It doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you believe in it because you want to.I don't believe in evolution, but I'm not going to slam someone else for believing in it.I'd like the same in return, those of you who slam religious people. You believe what you want to believe.I have no disrespect for you if you believe in evolution. But I do have disrespect for you,if you're going to force your opinion on others,&call us stupid b/c we don't believe you.

  • The evolution of life on Earth has been an incredible sequence of events spanning back since just after the formation of our planet some 4 billion years ago. We have that beautiful evolutionary journey to thank for our ability to witness reality and share it with those who can understand us. Seeing as how humans and chimpanzees diverged about 5 million years ago, it's no wonder that they also appear to have a similar spectrum of emotions. They understand the world largely in the same way we do.

  • 0:34 - 0:58 looks like a scene out of some private club or brothel. One of them is dividing and arranging some cocaine while two others get busy in the background. Especially with the music.

  • Personally i love being a Primate and i dont care what fantasys religious people believe their freaks and fucked up and clearly brainwashed repspect to our closest cousins! People be proud of being a primate were the smartest Animals on Earth and we are part of a family of many diverse creatures be proud of yourself not of your stupid relgion.

  • @JordoF6 i believe in god and i am not brainwashed

  • Why the fuck do they have collars on? So we can observe them? So we can test on them? So we can track them? That shit is fucked up.

  • @HankRustamaki no idiot its called science

  • Chimps have a slightly higher self awareness than pigs or dogs?????? Holy Smokes.

  • Looks like rich dawkins :D

  • It's ridiculous to compare chimps to humans.

We do share a similar physiology with the apes if you compare us to earthworms but when it comes to intelligence chimps have a slighty higher self-awareness than pigs or dogs but not any near close to even a 5 years old human with a down syndrome.

We share over 60% same DNA with fruitflies but we aint flies.

We share over 95% same DNA with chimps but we aint chimps.

    Humans have human rights.

    Apes have "PETA" rights.

  • @HoLOLcaust Chimpanzees are one of the great apes. Monkeys have tails.

  • Hehehe... they think they're people!

  • @pickupthePWN Screw you Seriously, screw you. Being rude doesn't make you smarter. Calling people stupid with no evidence is something only "primitive" people do. Grow the hell up.

Many of the people often considered the most intelligent in history were religious people.

  • @laifalbert Socrates... Da Vinci... Einstein... Religious?

  • @aaoppe Not those specifically. There were very intelligent religious people just as there were very intelligent atheists. The funny thing is, most people actually in the field of evolution as well as other sciences are respectful of religions, while many people who follow it closely are those who are rude about them, in an effort to sound smart.

  • @Cougman1978 "But don't mention that human evolve from them."

    Ok, I won't, because it's not true.

But we do share a common ancestor.

  • @tehinfidel

Dude WTF? Where's your uploads? There's been nothing new for a long time.

  • @superhamzah85 Yeah, been too busy for a bit for editing and uploading or much else aside from slagging off ignorant creationists in comments. ;-) Check the other channels linked on my main channel for more up-to-date stuff.

  • @tehinfidel I'm a creationist myself and I don't know why every video pertaining to chimpanzees that has any connection to evolution has to turn into a debate.

  • @cheftobe555 A book isn't proof you idiot!

  • @cheftobe555 Did "God" create us on the 6th or 7th day? Did he create man and woman at the same time, or separately? I've read your magic book; wasn't convinced.

Where I live, the gods Izanami and Izanagi are asked to make a new land. Izanami gave birth to Japan, but died in labor. Izanagi tried to get her back in the underworld, but couldn't so he cried and his tears turned into the sun and moon, and later he made humans.

It's a cute story. Why should I believe your magic story over this one?

  • @tehinfidel You've read it cover to cover? btw God created man on the 6th day. Man and woman were created seperately. If you read it you would know these things. Where is your proof that we have a common ancestor with apes? You have about as much proof as I do, but the difference between you and me is that I believe in something greater than myself not some imperfect humans so called "science".

  • @cheftobe555 Actually Adam and Eve were created together on the 6th day after animals were created and in the Gen 2, Adam camed before animals, then God made animals to suit Adam so that fail then Eve was convinced, not the same as the first story. And the fossil record is full evidence that we share common ancestors, not to mention some of our ERVs being the same location as chimps. ERVs are inherited btw. You believe in a book written by imperfect humans, not something creater than yourself.

  • @cheftobe555 We have many intermediate fossils between modern day humans and our common ancestor with chimpanzees, look up homo erectus, homo habilis, australopithecus, ardipithecus etc. Regardless of whether evolution was guided by a creator or not it seems very clear that we share a common ancestor with Chimps that lived around 6 million years ago. I don't see why that would make you angry or how you could believe the MAN MADE creation story of Adam and Eve. Absolute bollocks.

  • @cheftobe555 Read it again, turbo. Gen 1:27-31, and Gen 2:2-7.

  • @tehinfidel Fuckin A, can we watch a simple video without a brainwashed christian and, even worse, an arrogant atheist bitching about "God"?

  • @jakeisurpimp Terribly sorry you're disappointed. Where shall I send your refund? Or here's a better idea: watch the apes, and don't read the comments.

I don't go out of my way to attack others, and in fact, don't even think about creationist nonsense in my daily life. I do, however, correct people spreading falsehoods and tired canards in the comment section of my videos. Don't read them.

  • @tehinfidel because japan sucks

  • @tehinfidel

    what is evolution?

  • @tehinfidel your answer was f*cking epic! lol
