Yeah, while you could argue that it slipped off in-between, in the later shots he's got it on around him, and it would've been impossible for him to put it through the loops that quickly. As someone who has worked with video editing professionally, it's possible that the dancers were asked to do the performance again because of technical errors, or perhaps shots were missed the first time for some reason or another. They're still legit dancers, though.
