this movie is the shit. not in some "happy" way, it just teaches some valuable life lessons that nowadays can't be taught because of being PC. not that "back then" was the best, and not that the present day is "the best". just lots of life lessons to be learned from this movie. chaz palmienteri is a genius for bringing his 1-man act off of the stage onto the big screen, and the fact he got de niro to direct AND star in it, still blows me away to this day.
