If a women drives, how is it more dangerous than if a male mahrem drives her? Auto insurance is actually higher for male drivers(Canada and the US as far as I know), because statistics show that they are involved in more crashes.
I also hear that in Saudi Arabia they have women's only shopping centres, so if women shopping alone amongst non mahrems is a problem, that could be a solution.
