Man, do I have some GREAT memories of the "Glen", in the 60's & 70's! For $2 a head we camped on a farmer's property not 75 feet from the loop, (R/H turn @ end of east leg). Security usually overwhelmed in those days. We'd climb trees on the farmer's property & could see to the crest of the hill on the east leg straight. On Sunday AM when we heard what seemed to be a swarm of giant hornets & seconds later saw those cars crest the hill, WE REMEMBERED WHY WE HAD COME UP THAT WEEKEND!
