  • ahhh at last im 37 weeks! i never thought i would make it! i love your vids =)

  • 13lbs!? Holy SH*T :D hahahaa That is craaaazy!!!!

  • wow 13lbs is huge!! haha

  • well i know this vid is old..buuut...thats crazy that u hadnt felt a BH at 37 weeks!! im 35 right now and have been having them since about 20 weeks

  • i'm 37 weeks today! I just started watching your videos and i love them! :) ahh, i just started making a vlog but i'm due April 22nd,2011! :) Good job! :P

  • lol we have that thermometer and have had it for ohh 3-4 years and i just realized a few months ago that there was that little button thing above the screen and it pops the plastic off so you dont have to pull it off the replace it ha. LAME!

  • Do you have studied yoga it?

During pregnancy can raise the legs so amazing!

  • I'm not trying to be all up in your business, but this lady who works at the hospital here said those ear thermometers aren't very accurate because apparently everyone's eardrum is in a different place, blah blah blah.. there is some kind of pacifier thermometer that'd work way better..

  • You're so lucky to able to show your stomach! I have stretch marks like nobody's business :(

  • no wonder yu got pregnant yur flexibal as s*** lol

  • My midwife told me that the cervix pain (stabbing or pinprick pain) can be related to pinching nerves in your pelvis when the baby is getting lower in your pelvis. She said it didn't have anything to do with contractions. But that's just what she told me :)

  • First of all, I love your videos! Second, you mentioned that babies tend to resemble the mother's weight. This is funny for me because I only weighed 4.9 ounces at birth because I was a premature twin. My brother was 8.3 but he was very late. So I have no idea how much my babies will weigh. I also love Lilia's name.

  • it could be bracken hex contractions but sometimes it just pressure keep us posted on when u have ur baby

  • oh okay well i wish you the beast :)

  • so i have been watching your videos and i was wondering did you have your baby

  • @sharnice10000 Nope not yet. Hopefully soon though! lol

  • july 13, six lbs 12 oz, 20 in

  • you are so cute and possitive im 13 wks you make me feel happy and look foward to the months to come.

  • Can you show ur mummy, if your still pregnant with her? If you arent then congrats on the birth... xoxo

  • Heey jesss you should soo make a fan page on fb :) that would be awesome

  • Oh. and with the thermometer, you don't have to put those things on if you run out. You just hold down the red button that it pushes.

  • How many car seats do you have? haha. I know I gave you one, you have a travel system, and I think you got a couple from yard sales. Haha.

  • @CandiceAnder I have 3! lol, I'm definitely going to use the one you gave me when she no longer needs to constantly be backwords in the travel system because it seems like better quality ;)

  • I love your happy attitude! You are doing so well! Good luck to you!

  • @Starlitshores Aww thanks so much!! =)

  • it's cute how excited you are about bring a child into the world :)

    very sweet!

  • Those cervix pains you are feeling is most likely just the pressure from the baby after she dropped. I am pregnant with my third baby and I had that problem with my 2 kids. Braxton Hicks contractions just make your stomach hard. I wouldn't worry though, it is totally natural.

  • How exciting on your effacement! I think you will go early!! And you can be in active labour and still not effaced. I was at 4cm and still only 90% effaced. :)

  • @chatabox0girl I know! I really hope I go early. I'm going to be walking like crazy up until my due date =)

  • 13 pounds...........?!

    I'm in shock.

  • Hey jessica I just wanted to say that I do love all your videos and I'm actually due on june 19th of 2010 haven't got a chance to make any videos yet I do plan on it though ehhee. And I also wanted to ask like is your cervix high or low and have you felt it? Sorry if its a personal question not trying to sound creepy

  • @ash21andplam Aw thanks! That's SO awesome! We can both go into labor at any time now =D I haven't felt my cervix but my doctor said it's really far back, so I'm assuming it's high.

  • its so cool cause mommytard (shay carls wife) is due june 8th..she already has 3 kids...she could probably give u tips n awnsers 2 ur ques

  • We registered for that thermometer too. Make sure you get an oral or rectal thermometer for when the baby is a newborn, because until their ear canals are big enough and fully developed enough, the thermal scan won't be as accurate.

  • Hello my name is Jessica as well and I'm 33 weeks pregnant with baby # 2, a boy! I totally adore your videos. Best of luck and I can't wait to see your precious princess when she arrives!

  • @jessicaherrera05 Aww thanks so much!! Congrats on your baby boy! =)

  • hEYY! FOR the manual for the base did you check under it? Cuz thats where mine was and i was going frantic looking for it. LOL just an idea!

  • @StephaNoid8 Yes we did, we checked everywhere. We had it before, we just lost it.. lol.

  • hello, im helenna ive been following you for a while. but yh, i think lilia will be around 7-8lbs but not more i dont think.

i cant wait to see lilia, if you show her to us, shes going to be beautiful.

hope your fingers dont swell too much and that your cervical pain goes away. x

  • Hi Jess I'm a huge fan of your videos:) I was just wondering ifff you could film some of you're graduationn?!:)

  • @mynamezzebra99 Of course!! I'll definitely videotape it and post it!! =D

  • ohmygosh, I'm so excited for you:) You MUST show us lilia

  • @dalia697 I definitely will!

  • hmm, i thnk Lilia would be about 6.45 ? hehe

  • Don't worry! She won't be even close to that big! If she was going to be 10 pounds you would be MUCH MUCH bigger than you are, so 13 won't be happening. :D

  • @cateyes8588 Haha I sure hope not! I'm hoping she'll be under 8lbs but I guess we'll see! =)

  • that is the thermometer that we have, and we've had it for about 10 years now, lol okay maybe 7/8 years. but we've just recently had to change the batterys and you dont ALWAYS have to change the replacement things, you can just wipe it with a wipe, saves a bunch of money lol :)

  • @Xocheerkrazii143 Really? That's so awesome because those replacement things can be expensive. I'm glad you guys like it =)

  • i cannot believe you are already full term!! i remember when you were asking you we thought you had a pudge like nine whole months ago!! so crazy, im nervous but excited for you!!!

  • @candixcore Haha I know!!! I can't believe how fast it's gone. I'm so excited for her to get here =D

  • Hey, sorry if you have already mentioned this in a video, but I can't remember... Are you planning to get a membrane sweep or just wait until little Lilia decides to get things moving? :)

  • @xelenielx I really want to ask him about it. I would definitely be interested =)

  • @GabeandJesss Good luck, then! :D You might have her here sooner than you expected :)

  • I graduated saterday 2!! =D yay! im so jealose of ur flexability!! :P

  • @lozis15 Haha, that's 11 years of dancing paid off! lol =)

  • i think she will only b like a 6lbs 8oz babygirl an like 19inches. i thought my son was goin to b like 5lbs an he was 8lbs 1 oz 20inches lol i was totaly wrong

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my gosh i am so excited to see the baby!!! I bet she willl have red hair like u!!!!! I am so happy for u! bye the way are u getting nervous????

  • @clubcool14 Haha I don't think she'll have red hair, I'm thinking black or brown =) I'm definitely getting anxious!! =D

  • I think the book is on the back of the car seat

  • I pretty sure that the book for the car seat is on the back of the carseat

  • @angeleyesnc22 No we checked, lol. They just have the basic instructions, not all the info we needed. It would make sense though!

  • My fingers get swollen sometimes after I've been for a long walk if its warm outside... I'm not even preggo... try cooling your hands down, dunk 'em in some cold water or something

  • In my experience, the ear ones are great-except when they get ear infections! Safety 1st makes a nook thermometer, which can be useful, too!

  • @cheerleader1931 Ohh I'll bet! I never thought about the ear infections. We have a normal thermometer just in case that happens =)

  • thw swelling cld be due to walking i know when i go walkin a mile or more and its te gravity pulling the blood to ur finger or it cld be due to pregnancy lol

  • Canada**

  • Heey Jessica !! I've been watching you videos and im from canad and I love them soo much I'm only 13 but your videos still teach me alot about pregnancy my 2 sisters are also pregnant one is 34 weeks and the other is 22 weeks so ya that is pretty cool (my guess for the baby) 8lb 2 oz , 21 inches , and June 22. My email is I.love.polkadots and it would be awesome if you would email me !! Or just reply to this thankxx..... Oh and my YouTube name is ratalienose123 :)

  • @ratalienose123 Haha I'm glad you like my videos!! Congrats on becoming an aunt soon! =D

  • I know exactly what you're talking about with the cervix pain! I started getting it a few weeks ago (I am 31 weeks). They are different than braxton hicks. With braxton hicks your uterus WILL get hard. I've heard the cervix pain described as "stabby plunger pains", which I think describes it very well. Kinda pinchy. Anyway, can't wait to hear what your doctor says tomorrow about effacement and dilation!!

  • Lilia is almost here!!!!!

  • My Braxton Hick's with my daughter made my stomach really hard and took my breath away slightly. It was an uncomfortable feeling, but not painful.

  • are you going to do a video while they are putting in the carseat

  • Many women experience this cervix pain. My OBGYN said it is the baby poking it with fingers (if she is head down). The baby could also put pressure on it and your slowly dilating. I just found out I am pregnant and I am experiencing some cervical pain but I believe it is my cervix closing tightly and preparing the mucus plug. Cervical changes will cause a pinch or sharp sensation.

  • @faithmerriam1 My doctor said that it was from the pressure and it's just causing me to efface and dilate. Congrats on your pregnancy!! =D

  • I'm 36 weeks pg and was told by my doctor that the cervix pain and pressure is the baby's head pressing against it. She suggested that I wear a maternity support belt and it's helped a lot. I found one on Ebay for $5!

  • @shavonnerm That's exactly what my doctor told me! I would buy one but I have so little time left I don't think it would be worth it! lol

  • Way to Go Jess...I think she will be 8 pounds and i think she will be in your arms around the date they gave you which i believe it was june 18th...Oh by the way i have a girl tooooooo yaaaaaaaay..

  • @2006yasmin Haha that's awesome! I think that's about the right time too =)

  • im guessing 7 lbs 8 oz and 20.5 inches :o)

  • lucky your graduating this week i have to wait till next thursday for my graduaton, and good lucj with lilia =]

  • I was 8Lb 4, my partner was 8Lb 4. Our 1st baby was 7.9, 2nd baby was 7.5, 3rd baby was 7.2 and our 4th baby weighed 8.4, the same as mummy and daddy!! I think your baby will be 8Lb 6 =)

  • I have a cool digital thermometer that is a pacifier, so you just stick it in their mouth, costs me $10NZ :-P

  • @newlyweds08 I've heard of those! It sounds really convenient =)

  • @GabeandJesss I have one of those but they aren't very accurate.

  • nice pic u've got there and what a cute belly u have!!btw congrats on ur gradution..

  • The cervix pain isn't braxton hicks... it's your cervix effacing/dilating, or just due to the baby putting pressure on it.

As for baby weight, I'm pretty sure it goes more by the weight of the father... my husband was 8 lbs 6 oz (I was 5 lbs 15 oz), and our kids were 8 lbs 5 oz and 9 lbs 1 oz... I'm hoping for a 10+ pounder next time lol... I've had no issues pushing them out, not even a tear.

  • @xpoeticxtragedyx That's what I thought! And I sure hope she doesn't go ANY more over than what Gabe was. I think I'd die if she was over 9 lbs, lol. Go you for taking the pain! =D

  • Gabe's dad was 13 pounds? 13 pounds...13 pounds. His poor, poor mother...

  • @Kaitlinjayen That's what I said!!!! And I asked if she had gestational diabetes and he said no, but I question that sometimes.. lol

  • HEy! I am 36 weeks and 4 days and I totally get Braxton hicks all the time especially at night. And more often than not my belly gets that weird shape you were talking about. I call it the heart cause from my view looking down my belly it kinda looks like a heart. I asked my doctor about it, if it was a braxton hick contraction and she said yes. So you definately are feeling them! Can't believe our little ones are almost here!!! Yay. take care

    GIRL TEAM!

  • @thinkpink1202 Haha yay I was right! It makes sense =)

  • they have these thermometers where all you have to is gently rub the thermometer across the forehead of the kid, and it shows the temperature. i like how easy, painless, and accurate it works!

  • hehe I love your videos!!!<3333333333333 I have my nursery video and babyshower video up(:

  • @ChelleNjoey32408 I'm going to watch them right this second!! =D

  • I was 3 1/2 pounds when I was born but I have a twin sister. And we are both tiny and always have been. My husband was about 9lbs when he was born. Our babies weighed 8lbs 15oz, 8lbs 11oz, and 9lbs 8oz. I had absolutely no problem delivering them vaginally. But I always blame the size of our babies on my husband. Because I can't blame it on me! LOL I just thought I'd tell you that :)

  • @sweetheartChristina lol!! That's cheating ;)

  • THIRTEEN POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think you were right about about your belly starting to be pointy! LOL!! And congrats about graduating, my brother is graduating high school too!

  • Congrats on graduation!!!!!!!

Installing the car seat makes it feel so real!

  • @LongTrailHome I totally agree! Now it's just sitting in the back of my car waiting to be used =D

  • yeah my step sister is due on the 15th and she went to the doctors on friday. they told her she was 2-3 cm and she could have my nephew anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks from now :) so it really can happen at any time!! :)

  • @pizzapie2011 Wow!!! That's SO awesome! I hope he comes soon! =)

  • Yay! its Almost time for Lilia.

  • I think the ear thermometers are better and easier on the baby. They typically read faster than the rectal thermometers (and you're supposed to use those plastic covers for the rectal thermometers too for hygiene reasons the difference is the rectal thermometers will work without them and the ear thermometers usually won't!). Also, did you cut your bangs? Or just part it on the other side? Adorable. I love your long hair! Can't wait for Lilia to get here!!!

  • @cpate0005 That's so good to hear! Some people don't like the ear ones and some people do. I hope it works for us! And no I didn't do anything to my bangs but I had just gotten out of the shower when I did this video, lol.

  • braxton hicks feel like period cramps, not cervix pain....and omg my hands just started swelling too. its worse with walking too so you're not alone on that one and i started getting nauseus close to when my hands started swelling so maybe they come together, i dont know. anyways congrats on being 80% effaced!! maybe you wont go past your duedate :)

  • @heatherjohnandkayden Yeah that's what I though. I hope I won't go over! =)

  • Comment removed

  • Braxton Hicks do not hurt. I got the most at night or in the evening. Mostly when i was sitting or laying. But you will know when you have them. Your belly will get so hard you cant push on it, and it really only last less then a minute.

  • @candsbroadway Yeah that's what I thought! Thanks!

  • i dnt think ur cervix pain is BH....BH n real cnx will make your uterus hard n wen its real cnx, the tightness is accompanied by back pain! Cervix pain might just be pressure from her head, her trying to engage. Hey is your doc gonna attempt to turn Lilia to make her anterior? I havent had any swelling either...*knock on wood* lol Are you having any pelvis/pubic bone pain?I have officially started to waddle cuz shes so low lol

  • @desimom18 Yeah, me neither. I'm going to ask my doctor about it tomorrow, so I'll let you know! I think it's more like what you said, her trying to engage. It makes so much more sense =) Haha! I only waddle when I have to pee really bad *knock on wood, myself* lol. But no, I haven't really had the pelvis or pubic bone pain yet. I'm sure it'll be soon to come!

  • Aw no dont worry! Lilia will not be 13 pounds!! Shell be the same as what you were or less xx

  • @Eyelure1 Haha, I hope so!! =)

  • oh no, jess the ear ones are okay but they hate stuff in their ear! the forhead ones SUCK (you rub it on their forhead and its supposed to get their temperature , like good luck getting a baby whos not newborn to stay still that long!) the arm pit ones i've found to be the best.

  • @ReillyAJ Really?? I asked my mom about that because I would think in the ear is just as bad as up the butt, but my mom said that it was actually a lot better. She also used under the arm just to check. I think I'm only going to use the ear one when I KNOW she has a fever, ya know? Thanks for the info!! =)

  • @GabeandJesss oh for sure no i was just saying, i've been around tones of babies and the daycare my mom works at they have all the different kinds of thermometers anyway just my experience, but hey itll be hard to get their temperature regardless of what method you use, once shes older they move too much anyway! lol and your momma, you know best :)

  • as you said ' the babies weight ressembles the mom's weight' im like CRAP! i was 9 lbs 2 oz!!! eek :/ they had to cut my poor mom in 4 places to get me out!!!

she probably wont be that big, things like diabetes also plays a role i would think (lots of sugar and the baby would gain weight inside you right) i was told braxton hicks is a hardening of your stomach not like contractions. LOL pics are so cute.

    CONGRATS on graduating!

  • @ReillyAJ Haha!! Hopefully, your baby will be smaller!! Thanks!

  • Great video Jess, Congradulations on graduating this week a very big week for you!! I would talk to your dr about your cervix pain you are having, i bet you are having braxton hix and you just dont realize you are having them. a question for you, how far away from the hopsital do you live? how long will it take you to get to the hospital once you are in labor? have you taken a tour of the hopsital's labor and delivery floor to know what to expect once you get there and are in labor?

  • @twahls65 It could be, I'm definitely going to ask him about it tomorrow =) Those are good questions! I live about 10 mintues away from the hospital, 15 minutes tops. I haven't taken the actual tour but I did take a "vitual tour" online. I'm going to go next Tuesday if she's not here yet =)

  • I love your videos!!!! You looks like so happy !!!!! ;D

    37 weeks....I can´t wait Lilia´s birth !!!!

  • @Verdeliss Thanks so much! I can't wait either! =D

  • i really hope you keep making videos after lilia is born!!!

  • @StephaniesMakeup Don't worry, I definitely will! =)

  • ahhh watching you reminds me that I will be full term in less than 4 wks!! Lilia will be here soon omg so crazy!

  • @aMochaMommy Haha, you're getting so close!!! =D

  • Hey! I don't want to scare you or anything, but our son weighed 9lb 8oz when he was born, and I was only 7lb 13oz when I was born, so he definitely did not take after his mother! My husband was 8lb 13oz, so I think our son took after his daddy! Also, before we could take our baby home from the hospital, a nurse actually came down to our car to make sure the carseat was properly installed.

  • @jennahstokes05 Wow!! That's crazy. That's why he said it's just MOST of the time, not all the time, lol. What a big boy! At our hospital the nurses actually aren't allowed to even touch the carseat for liability reasons, I wish they could though!

  • not long to go now aye!!! we dont seem to get told things in as much detail as u do, ur lucky!! but iv been told my babys head is 3/5 into the pelvis and last week it wasnt so much so i take that as progress lol, yay for progress

  • @delwynnenz Any kind of progress is great! Good luck! =)

  • how often do you have to see the doctor when you're pregannt? it seems like you see you doc like every week!!!

  • @pinapplemangobananna Haha, well now it is every week. In the beginning it's every 4 weeks, then I had a 3 week appointment, then 2 weeks appointment, and now I'm at 1 weeks appointments until she is born =)

  • Exactly how you explained your first braxon hick contraction is how mine are...have that weird wave shape on your belly and tightening. Im having that ALL the time! The pain on the cervix is the babies head hitting the cervix and there are a bunch of nerves down there that she is hitting. No fun, but it supposedly helps you efface and dialate. Hope you are more effaced and dialated tomorrow! I was also 80% effaced but 1 1/2 cm dialated last week. Walk a lot!! It reaaaally helps.

  • @DnvrsGrl That totally makes sense! I'm pretty sure that's right. I'm definitely going to start walking SO much after this week. Thanks! =)

  • what if u give birth before graduation?

  • @magdaros0410 That would suck, lol.

  • braxton hicks will feel like period cramps but if they get like 5 mins apart then you might want to go to the hospital

  • @samanthacarmichael21 Yeah, they don't feel like that so I'm pretty sure it's not. Thanks! =)

  • Wow - that's right , you did say due date would be close to graduation. Let's see which party will be first - Lilia's or grad... lol God bless all of you!! : )

  • @txb2gd Haha, let's hope it's graduation, lol!

  • i love your videos you look so happy and i cant wait to see your baby *gg*

  • @shiva12000 Haha thanks!!

  • Wow! Almost there!! Can't wait to meet the little angel!

  • @hotmami331 I know!! It can be any time now =D I can't wait either!

  • I love watching your videos. They are just so darn inspiring, and you look so happy! Thanks so much for making these for others to watch :)

    -Megan

  • @Randomgirl4132 Aww thank you so much!! I'm so glad you like them =)

  • 13 pounds??? woooww thats alot! but i doubt lilia will be a BIG baby lol

  • @da1nonlymixedqt I know!!! I almost don't believe them when they tell me, but I saw pictures =/ I sure hope she won't be that big, lol!

  • You're the happiest teen mom I have ever seen.
