and i literally laughed for for like 5 minutes when the PS1 Shadow Moses mission came up and when fighting screaming mantis when i tried to switch the digital controller port to port 2 thinking that's what i was supposed to do and they called me out on it.

I cried during pretty much all of this battle. The tears obstructing my view are what made this battle the hardest. I really have no idea what about it did this to me, but seeing the style, music, and even the UI change to match those of the games I grew up with, it just struck something.

And I did this entire part while hardly even seeing anything.

And when snake supposedly shoots himself i was devastated and at the same time felt honored to have played with this magnificant character. Few games get you so attached to the characters like this one.

@JoeTheBored Solid Snake, Liquid Snake, and Solidus Snake are all clones of Big Boss AKA Naked Snake. Raiden is not a clone of snake. It honestly takes too long to explain ALL the connections in the series. You'll have to play through all the MGS games to fully understand everything. This series is known for it's complex plot lines.

@secanesam Liquid Ocelot is Revolver Ocelot from MGS1, MGS2, and MGS3. In MGS2 however, he is actually at times Liquid because he replaced his arm after it was chopped off in 1 with Liquids arm. However, he removed Liquid's arm and began using hypnotherapy and nano machines to convince himself he was Liquid. I don't remember the reason however. And just cause I'm on a roll, Ocelot is the biological son of The Boss and The Sorrow.

Revolver Ocelot's voice is more Western-like, while Liquid Ocelot's voice has Liquids personality. Liquid Ocelot was not in fact Liquid Snake. However, memetically, Liquid Ocelot could be argued to be the mental clone of Liquid Snake brought on by Revolver Ocelot's advanced hypnotherapy therefore he could be said to carry on Liquid Snake's will.

like wtf, if they spent as much time on the actual fighting interface, and AI intelligence as they did the cut scenes, this game would be much more entertaining.

I just think the fighting could be much more sophisticated.
