Well if you want to use that standard, KISS tops 'em all. After all, early Crue distinctly looks and sound just like KISS. I could also add that both Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley epitomize everything a rock star should be. Besides Crue, I could also throw in early GnR; hey is anyone "cooler" than Slash, doesn't he epitomize everything a rock star should be? Some would also say GnR was a better band too.
