  • absolutely beautiful, i was there back in 1982 as a student and really miss all the tradition and beauty! it is truly like a fairy tale scene. Your blessed to live in such a beautiful city. thanks for vid, shoot another this winter.

  • ist da nicht auch ein berühmtes Museum? :)

  • Nichts schoneres als die hand des Gottes.

  • rothenburg is very beautiful. my farthers best friend (for me an ucle! ;D ) lives there and we've visited him at last two years ago.. it was so beautiful! every evening i was alone in the park.. thoughts were free and i felt so.. hm good. just good. :)

    greetings from germany. :D

  • can somebody tell me whats the title of the song?? thank you i love to go in rothenburg i havent been there but im so insanely obsess with this place

i wish i could move there

  • I bought it on iTunes. It's a royalty free song. Think it's called Faerie tale or something to that effect.

  • thank you i found it on i tunes

so.. anyway are you from rothenburg?

i really love that place so.. bad!

  • @kajong20 Ifr you believe it, or not: The apartments inside the city are extremely cheap. Living in a 600 years old house is not as expensive as you may think.

  • @AndreR241 really?? so.. how much do you think would cost me to buy a house? LOL (so ambitious) how about job is it easy to find a really good paying job in rothenburg??

  • @kajong20 For two rooms about 350 €, 250 € for a single room (per month, heating and tax already included). Buying a complete house wouldn't be too easy, because the houses are usually really big and for more then just one family. But you could buy a decent sized apartment for less then 200.000 €.

Finding a good job wouldn't be too hard in general. However, it highly depends on your German skills and your job qualification! They have an unemployment rate of less then 2 %.

  • @AndreR241 i see i really wanna see deutschland your country is so schön your so lucky! how did you know all of this do you live in rothenburg?? how about college is it expensive to get to a university like in Universität Würzburg. well on my german skill i need to lernen wie sprechen Deutsch i hope that's right lol.

danke für die info i hope one day i can move to your country......( cross finger )

  • @kajong20 I don't live too far away.

The university tuition fee in Bavaria is capped to 500 € per semester. Fachhochschulen might be less expensive. Keep in mind, that home schooling diplomas are not accepted here in Germany! In that case, you would have to perform different tests to get a proper qualification.

Dann wollen wir mal hoffen, dass es klappt!

  • @AndreR241 wow! thats really not too expensive, here after you graduate in 4 years of college you will have a quarter of a million of debt! that sucks! how come college is so expensive here in america! I'm not a home school guy so i'm sure im qualify for it! do you have to be fluent in deutschen to be able to get to a university? how about schule medizin is it expensive and tough to get in??

yeah! i hope it will work out one day!

what's the name of stadt do you live near rothenburg??

  • @kajong20 i think it round about 500 $ (in Bonn) but im not really sure

the south is always a kinda more expensive.

  • My wife and I went to Rothenburg before we had our twins. They are now 5. In two or three years, we plan to take them. Do they still have the Night Watchman's tour and is the Christmas store still in business (can't remember the name).

  • Yes, everything is pretty much still the same in Rothenburg. That's the charm of it. Nothing changes.

  • @rogerspring, Indeed hes still going strong, I took the tour in December in thick snow :)

The Christmas store? I assume you mean with the giant nutcrackers out front? Yeah thats also still there.

One of the best winters ive had with the Christmas markets and perfect views, great place!

  • @rogerspring Hi i was born in Rothenburg, and i can help you! The name of the christmas store is Käthe Wohlfahrt. The store is near the market place! greeze from Germany :-)

  • Lovely!! I am German and have taken all my family here in the US at least once to Rothenburg!! It's pure magic!!

  • Thanks ! Vielen Dank!
