You know what is super strange about this. I watched this interview live on this date and couldnt help but think how uncanny he resembled Chris Reeve in real life. To be honest i dont want to see Routh come back. Unortunately Returns wasnt the movie it should have been. I think its time to move away from the Reeves version of superman and make superman Modern. Routh was good for what he was given, But i feel he looks too young and his body type is that of a swimmer. Superman is bulky, not so talll, squinty eyes and can blend in better with regular people. Someone 6'4 with big blue eyes is definately going to stand out. They need to base it more onthe comic

Luthor grabs a crystal from the Fortress that he knows will expand into a land mass he can sell as real estate. But who would live on this place? Superman Returns is not a sequel nor a prequel more homage to the 1978 Richard Donner film. Bryan Singer, Michael Doughtery, Dan Harris, Brandon Routh, were just trying to re-introduce superman to the 21st. century kids who have only seen "Smallville." I think the Superman Returns sequel in 2009 will be a great sequel "The wrath of Khan" as Bryan Singer would say of Superman Sequels.
