that movie was soooo bad. It was so bad that my aunt was making jokes about it during the movie. We were laughing so hard a guy in front of us told us to be quiet. You get startled at some points though. And the women's breasts are so fake, they didn't evn move during all the naked activities they were doing.

I think you cant really say the old one is better. I think you can say it WAS a good movie , but for this age? People who will watch it today might even find it funny. Remaking it serves to kinda.. re-tell the story for the people who wont wanna see an old movie they may find funny and/or boring.

Interestting, though I have to say I'm getting really sick of the endless parade of remakes lately... I've seen Derek Mears in some short movies over the years, as both hero and villain characters. Somehow I'm guessing he's playing Jason? :) From what I've seen of his work before, he's a good choice.
