no they didnt take out custom games there is a second disc that is exactly like halo3 but without the campaign and it has all 24 maps including the three new ones so if you want to play odst campaign or firefight you use the first disc for halo 3 multiplayer with all the maps you use the second disc for multiplayer with all the shipped maps and whatever you downloaded use the halo 3 disc for the halo 3 campaign you use halo 3
