iguanas are considered easy because they are cheap in reality the easiest lizards i think are monitors or meat eating lizards especially ones that dont grow to big beardies are considered beginner but maybe you should start with a guinea pig and work your way up

Reptiles can't love if anyone didn't know. There brain does not have what are brain has, a midbrain, the part of the brain that controls emotion. In fact, the reason the reptile refrains from eating you while you sleep, is that your giving it food. So the reptile thinks, I could use you for food and sustenance if i just don't try to eat you than you'll feed me and take care of me. But if you stop feeding me than I'll kill you. So it's a win win for the reptilian.

@THUGLIFEhks Taming takes time and effort. I got one about a year ago who was unfriendly and would hiss/alligator roll/whip his tail at me if I tried to hold him. Try hand feeding a lot, don't rush anything. Get him use to you petting him in the cage, they like the tops of their heads being pet. You just have to keep holding them, and show them who is boss. Don't let the alligator rolls scare you, wear gloves and make sure you hod him in a way that is controlled but not harmful to him.
