I'm sorry, but you loose my sympathy when you ambush a train and try to knock it off the tracks, risking the death of all inside for the sake of an ultimately meaningless tradition.

I might be more sympathetic if they had a genuine need of the land, their own agriculture or hunting/gathering, but just running across it? Not exactly an ideal parallel to the real world events that obviously inspired this episode.

@leviadragon99 this is not about american settlers and indians or any other real life issue you think it might be about it maybe similar but its not exactly an original idea many other people and shows have done something like this. this is primarily a childrens show-- although most bronies are over 13 including me-- that is designed to teach children lessons like sharing as in this episode. also the fact that it was just for tradition is THE WHOLE POINT besides traditions are pretty sacred

Not really... I think we've seen how "traditional values" can screw over a culture as they refuse to advance, refuse to drop old prejudices or adopt new technology, simply because their way is the way they've always done it, we've seen it in real life and I'd argue we've seen it in this show.

@leviadragon99 there's a difference between refusing to give up an old prejudice or advance in technology and wanting to keep something sacred that has been passed from generation to generation which is all the buffalo wanted to do. they had nothing against the ponies until they planted on the land without asking and then refused to move their trees when the buffalo asked politely. and another thing if your gonna watch shows like MLP stop trying to find the "ovbious reletionships to real life"
