I hate to sound nosy or pry, but can you share how he died? I know it was drug-related, but he doesnt seem the type that was shooting up or anything...more of a spiritual quest guy, and my hundreds experiences w/ psychedelics were always that its 'safe', you cant really overdose on them. Extremely curious as to what drug it was. <3

The news reports seemed said that the cause of death may be drug overdose, but it would be deferred for toxicology reports. It's been 6 months since Daniel passed. I haven't seen anything about this; does anyone know what the official cause of death was?

Great video. I was lucky enough to meet Dan in Peru and he taught me a few beginner moves with water balloons.. He had a great energy. He will be missed, but God makes no mistakes. It seems to me like the great ones die young...

So sorry for Joe and his family during this extremely difficult time. I lost my younger brother, Dan (coincidentally) 4 1/2 years ago, very tragically. We were very close...it was the worst day of my life. So sad for his family and friends for their loss. Death just sucks!
