  • Very Nicely Done.

  • Really good, man, nice job.

  • acid gets you real high

  • Lol Kermit in a trench coat. Kinda creepy.

  • radiohead is some straight trippin music

  • non dovevi nemmeno permetterti di usare questa magnifica canzone per il tuo stupido video... ma lo sai almeno di che parla il testo?

  • @bialea2009 no non lo sa forse

  • *Snoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

  • RADIOHEAD !!! fucking best !! thumbs up

  • It's like Radiohead had sex with Pink Floyd and BAM.. Subterranean Homesick Alien.

  • @galvo dude i love you !

  • Comment removed

  • Wow 0.0

  • Such a beautiful melody

  • MAN! you got me)

    I dig it like heavean

    beatlemaniac)))

  • ermm, this video was nothing short of "what the fuck" :s

oh, and coldplay and radiohead are 2 totally different bands, both are awesome.

When Muse first came out actually, they were being compared to Radiohead, can see why, but no, please dont compare, just enjoy the music!

  • is there no official video cuz i can't find one -_-

  • I look back on this comments section with pride knowing I took part in at least one bitchfest on YouTube in my life.

  • I don't understand why coldplay and radiohead are even being compared...they are nothing like each other at all. I wouldn't even go as far to say that coldplay is trying to be like them..THEY ARE COMPLETELY FUCKING DIFFERENT.

  • Awesome video...

That was very mystique, and somewhat odd-in a good Radiohead kind of way...perfectly matching the atmosphere I get from the song...

Radiohead is such a great band and I'm glad you chose this song to make a video for...

    Also Kermit Mask FTW!

  • Great video, dude. I love the editing work a lot. A Kermit mask goes a long way I see :D.

  • Radiohead isn't like fucking Coldplay. Coldplay is trying to be like Radiohead, and failing miserably. Viva La Vida is the most unnecessarily hyped up song I've had the misfortune to hear in every store, shopping center, restaurant and cafe I've been to in the past year.

  • Thank you Radiohead.

  • really cool :)

  • I like to paint to this song

  • Good video.. well done

  • i just remember this being my favorite song off the album cause of those pink floyd type sounds

  • 0_o trippy vid bruv

  • You need profesors at high quality universities to calculate the greatness of Radiohead.

  • @antisadism No you don't. They're over 9000.

  • its quite like late pink floyd, also some beatles influence, but the OK Computer album is certainly it's own idea. This is just influenced by a late 60's era , but with a 90s twist.

  • one of the only tolerable radiohead songs...maybe even good.

  • woah, this one takes me back. what an album ok was. i was the only one of my mates who got into it, i got bored of all the oasis thing at the time.

  • it was 12 years ago that i listened to this song that it was my favorite song ever

  • Bad ass video I love RADIOHEAD!!

  • I love this song, makes me think of aliens for some reason, very beautiful song the way the guitars go with the voice :D

  • @gon2bed That's because it's... about aliens? Lol

  • @isolateslowfaults i know that silly lol :D

  • my alltime favorite song

  • THEY'RE UPTIGHT UPTIGHT UPTIGHT

  • how did you do that effect at 2:16 with the psychadelic colors?

  • Nirvana is better

  • Kermit in a trench coat scares the shit out of me too, I confess...

  • great tune, great video...love it..

  • You have to admit The Joshua Tree was incredible. I prefer Radiohead, but that doesn't mean there have never been any astounding bands in the past.

  • What? NONSENSE! There were no bands before Radiohead! There was only blackness.

  • Radiohead has their own genre. NO BANDS COMPARE!

  • @gabbee16 U2 and Radiohead compare. Both are excellent bands.

  • @gabbee16 Yeah Radiohead are the best!!!

  • @gabbee16 Penis.

  • Nice video, awesome song.

  • Amazing song. The opening is so dope.

  • Calm down jeez. I love Radiohead. I'm probably not a "true fan" like you are, but I'm just saying that some songs have that arena-like sound of U2, and the lyrics are similar to Pink Floyd. And like I said, Thom Yorke and the rest of the band bring something totally new and different to their influences and make it a unique style of music. I don't like to label it though. All I know is that Radiohead is like on a higher plane of awesomeness than every other band I've known.

  • Please, Radiohead is on a level that those fucking fags in U2 could never even begin to comprehend. I agree that they have a really ethereal, otherworldly quality to their music, but they're not wash-rinse-repeat rock like U2.

  • @chosentonessournotes

Yeah...I kind of have to agree with you there. I guess I've always had a soft spot for U2 just because one of the first songs I loved was "Bad." They're new album is absolutely horrible.

While Radiohead just keeps getting better. And again, "Radiohead is like on a higher plane of awesomeness than every other band I've known."

  • I know bro. No hard feelings at all, I just never understood why U2 are as big as they are. They fucking blow.

  • Yeah Rolling Stone Magazine seems to take every chance they get to kiss their ass.

  • anyone chirping U2 really needs to take a lesson in rock history...

I cant hear what chosentonessournotes is saying because thoms dick is to far down his throat.

  • Pardon? I like the music of Radiohead. I don't idolize them. Also, I don't like the music of U2. Hence, why I can't see why anyone would compare the two.

  • I dont like U2 either.

But there is obviously a reason they have reached fame.

Joshua Tree and Achtung baby were groundbreaking albums in terms of studio production and totally different from mainstream trends in the 80's.

That being said, I am a die-hard radiohead fan and I do agree there is no other band in the world that can duplicate their sound... but I find every radiohead video I watch is littered with fanboys that are very myopic in nature.

Just trying to create some balance here.

  • I believe you said (about U2), "They fucking blow." That's not simply disliking a band's music, that is completely trashing it. It's fair for some people to make comparisons, cause taste in music is a matter of opinion. That said, I certainly prefer Radiohead.

  • JEALOUSY IS AN EVIL BREAKFAST!!!!!

  • U2 is proof that you can suck and still hit it big.

U2? I just threw up in my mouth a little......

  • @mtb416

You watch too much bad girls club

  • @MrPontiusPilate wtf is that?

  • eh, not bad.

  • any fan of radiohead is a fan of mine

  • Are you sure you've got that the right way round? I'm no fan of you old bean.

  • why does everyone fucking think all radiohead songs are about a bad trip

  • Who is everyone?

None of Radiohead songs are about drugs. None!

  • because of the sound srry but it really sounds like someone is on drugs even if you don't watch the video. about the other songs i dont know

  • u2 and radiohead are both great not great phenomanal but theyre totally different

  • Played the hell out of this when it came out. Pink Floyd influence ? Yes. but Floyd has a bluesy feel This does not

  • Kermit thee frog here!!

  • Very nice job.

    awesome in your creativity.

    A+,young man.

  • really a good job little guy

  • bed time song

  • It scared me...:S

  • I HATE when folks add tags to the end of a song! Why can't people just put "their" credits over top the song itself?! Ugh.

  • Come on now...

  • U2 sucks.... dude radiohead doesn't need inspiration

  • I don't like U2. And Radiohead have talked about their inspirations before. Their name comes from the song "Radio Head" Talking Heads.

  • @ComputerGeek396 they said they thought it was the least annoying song on the album

  • haha what a funny thing "dude radiohead doesn't need inspiration"... you`re probably too young and haven`t listened to older bands to notice their influences on Radiohead.

  • I think it sounds a little like Pink Floyd, along with a lot of their songs. But Radiohead still has a very unique sound, and I love this song.

  • Don't know why you got 6 thumbs down lol. I think Radiohead is like a mix of U2 and Pink Floyd and when Thom Yorke and the band is added it becomes totally awesome. Even if you don't like Radiohead's music, you have to agree that they're different.

  • I've always wanted to wrestle Kermit the Frog and pin him so that he folds his mouth inside itself, like when he's mad.

  • great !

  • Run Kermit! Run!

  • Space Station Silicon Valley is great.

    =D

I think I've already left a comment like that somewhere.

  • The music is very similar to Do Make Say Think's "Le'espalace"

  • Cool! Underrated Radiohead song!

  • this vid s become a friend ;) even when noone else would

  • coming down from a peyote trip, this song summarizes the feeling of a bad trip dude, and trying to make it better, but not having any weed to heal it. zill seeing things. oh btw the vid is good too

  • my friends don't believe me they think i finally lost it completely .....ain't that true

  • someone I know just slagged off radiohead. makes me angry.

  • The last few seconds are my favorite.

  • this song is so trippy.... but in an alien way lol

  • Anyone know why they never play this song live?

He's got his varying reasons for not playing Creep or Street Spirit often, but no idea about this one.

  • Marlboro. I think it's Marlboro.

  • I BELIEVE IN ALIENS

BUT I BELIEVE MORE IN RADIOHEAD

    lol

  • fantastic post i second this.

  • wow man, i really like ur video... is nice how you wasn´t expecting so much popularity

  • you know there right though, Thom has said himself thats what its about, Alienation

  • Good Job.

  • i like it. this song is one of my favourites. and i like this video.

  • Nice video work for an amateur; but he completely missed the meaning of the song. It's about how foreign we are to each other for no reason. Of locking up emotions. How alien we are to one another; and how foolish it would look if we could examine ourselves from beyond (as aliens may do)

  • i think meaning is within the mind of each individual, if you go strictly by what others and the artist say its about, then you are not experienceing the music yourself.

  • Yes how dare this young man interpret this song in a literal way. We should leave it to art critics and geniuses like Chazy..:-)

  • This song is not about aliens,it is about humans being aliens to each other...

  • I completely agree-

  • THERE you go

"it's about people being aliens to each other"

    right on

really what most of ok computer is about

  • awesome :D

  • lol

  • homesick??? or

  • smoke weed everyday!

  • no!

because then you'll increase your tolerance

    every other day :]

  • im currently doing a music video subject in media and doing a vid to a pixies song. but the way this person has made this vid is brilliant.

  • bravo! very nice job

  • great video. congrats.

  • it does sound like the nick drake song.

  • we just did an analysis of this song for my english class. my team argued that it's about drug addiction and the process of recovery. any ideas?

  • i think it's a song about all of the coping mechanisms people use to get through their lives. The narrator dislikes the fact that people do things like drugs, lie to themselves, and try to use reason to make sense of everything. For him, a place like outer space makes the most sense to be because he can get away from all of these things; he'd be "alright".

Or I'm totally wrong and its about something else. Either way, this song is the shit.

  • what a interesting video

  • this is my favorite song

  • faggggggggggggot

  • Kind of a cover of the Nick Drake song PARASITE... who they say they are inspired by....

    refernces to dylan all around

  • True. At least the verse is very similar.

  • No offense, but the song PARASITE by Nick Drake is what inspired radiohead to make this song....... yo can even see the connection in the title... which is all a giant reference to a dylan song ;)

check it if you don't believe me...

radiohead and nick drake and dyaln are all great though

  • You suck, go die.

  • ahaha? serious?

  • Bah, sure. Why not?

  • Fuck you bitch!!! You don't know what kind of shit you say!!!

This song is so beatiful like the video!!!

    Fuck you again!!!

  • I like all three version I was just informing you that this song is inspired by nick drake and even has the same verse.... Also there is a connection to Bob Dylan by all three versions. You are stupid, don't know you're music and Radiohead would probably hate your little fanboi ass

  • that is so cool, I was listening to Nick Drake"s "parasite" the other day and I was thinking that it sounded like radiohead.

I think this is the best way to honor your influences. Radiohead did a great job, it's an epic song.

  • Surprisingly well done.

  • hey not everyone can interpret a radiohead song and get away with it, much less this song in particular, nice work, much respect from Puerto Rico

  • Thats what I reckoned... well then have a nice life in Alaska or the MidWest or whatever village your from^^ say hi to Sarah palin from me

  • Wedsheport don't waste your time, dangerman is a fuckin retard. You didn't do shit, I have no idea what's up his ass.

Also yes this song is a musical high.

  • You call yourself Dangerman... you should grow up and get some education^^ btw what if i was a faggot you have a problem with that?

  • This is the kind of song I could pciture myself running in slow motion to attack someone like in soem sort of artsy thriller movie.

  • Nice imagination^^ this song gets me high...

  • nice vid, maybe try put it to a sng dat suits it mor, seeing as it got nuffin to do with aliens ;/

  • no music video ever has something to do with the theme of the song^^ especially radiohead videos... i think its about the mood and if it fits the song. this one definitely does.

  • wedsheport,

you are a tool and an idiot. stop talking.

  • Why am I a tool why am I an Idiot and why should I stop talking? Oh and why are you so shure I am all of these things and your`re not?^^

  • Wow you're... pretty agressive. What's wrong with you?

  • im not taking sides here, just consider that he checked out this video in the first place which indicates the probability that he has interest in radiohead in the first place so i doubt dangerman is "considerably" ignorant...

  • or wedsheport

  • Thats a good point.

  • great song and video dude, word up from NJ

  • Excellent video, man!! Can you tell us what software you used for the effects?

  • holy shit thats funny!!!! keep it up!!.........respect from denmark!!

  • How did you get that sweet effect on 2:31 it is trippy as hell.

  • ur trippy as hell...

  • ur mum's trippy as hell

  • haha i like the vid very original AWESOME

  • excellent job, that was very cool. cant say the theme or running from one's self is original, but you made a great video and should be proud. kudos.

  • nice job!!!!!

  • thats what she said

  • Very, very cool man. That was awesome.

  • wow you put a ton of work into this, it looks great. Good job, the acting is pretty good as well

  • the alien kinda looks like kermit! aha but still loved the vid u did a good job 5/5

  • exelent video very funny

  • I LOVE THIS SONG

  • Love the song butt...the filters got very, VERY annoying. Also why was he running away from the "alien"? I thought the song clearly said "I wish that they'd swoop down in a country lane, late at night when I'm driving. They'd take me onboard their beautiful ship show me the world as I'd love to see it"

  • Ten kawałek sprawia, że mogę wszystko. Jestem wszechmocna, przenoszę się do innych wymiarów i widzę świat takim, jakim on jest naprawdę.. Kocham :)

  • What does REM have to do with this man? It's Radiohead. By the way, it was a solid video kid, I loved kermit dancing around, it was very entertaining to watch.

  • love this song

  • Oasis have calmed down a bit. Still a bit of a circus though. well the brothers are.

  • each to there own. In my eyes REM are bland with a front man who should be hit with a stick hard. stage presence is boring infact he just acts like a cock and is a bit full of him self. On and off the stage

  • I find it really hard to like REM at all. For me OK computer is a better album

    apples and oranges though :-D

  • It did well because of the ad campaign stunning visuals which are still awesome today.

what we can all agree on is Radiohead consistency produce great music and seem to get better with age as where a lot if not most other bands have a hit and a few misses and then maybe a hit again.

thing is Kid A was a commercial success check the numbers, there out there.

  • thing is Kid A was there most comercial suscess to date. So reviews dont mean a lot really.
