  • I think the shaking is because Husky stadium is so shitty it's about to fall down.

  • had my shirt ripped because of the amazingness

  • That game had some crazy bounces, they all seemed to favor the dawgz.

  • Just another reason UofgAy has never been to the Rose Bowl! Go Devils! Way to go Huskies!

  • Man 09 ha dsome great moments even if we didn't go to a bowl game.

  • sucks for AZ. haha the kid reached out for it and he redirected it to his foot which went right into fosters hands. haha

  • i was t this game. nobody really knew what happened until they showed it on the huskytron. great win it was! not really earned but i will take it all the same!

    GO DAWGS! :D

  • I was at this game, and the 2 ot one vs oregon st. Both were insane

  • ESPN did a close up frozen shot where you can clearly see the ball hits the side of his foot, and the turf at the same time

  • Sure hope the saints draft him...

  • bad call by the refs that hit the ground and all u UW faggots shouldnt have won that game

  • @hammy757 get that cock outa ur mouth

  • Comment removed

  • @thedereklee9 44-14 thats all im going to say

  • The correct name is "Inaccurate Deflection." The refs fucked us over.

  • @AWOwns It CLEARLY went off his foot.

  • @VHBravo1 lol pause it at 1:08 and its CLEARLY on the ground

  • Good win Huskies. Arizona lost to the better team that day.

    Go Wildcats.

  • No miracles last night for the Dawgs. Go Cats, beat UCLA!

  • THE MIRACLE AT MONTLAKE

  • That hit the ground

  • @wazzu57

Fuck off faggot, enjoy another loser season with your hillbilly coach.

  • that bush league call cost us a rose bowl game. it obviously hit the ground. PAC-10 refs suck at every sport.

  • @azbest15 Now you know how sports fans in Seattle feel.

  • @XxTeamHazMatxX no the defender's head was in front of the gay Wildcat

  • Oops i scored.

  • 0:16 Is the UW guy running into the white jersey guy legal? Isn't that interfering or something?

  • @XxTeamHazMatxX It's a block, the play was active it's legal.

  • shouldn't be talking with your QB in jail.

    DAWG SEASON!

  • i love my dawgs

  • Legit, go DAWGS!

  • haha i had just finished watching some other game, i think texas, and all the games were over, so i went to fsn arizona. i got to watch this finish, one of the craziest i've ever seen

  • hit the floor

    0 and 12 nuff said

  • fuck you. be more bitter. if you go to arizona then you must have fucked up majorly in high school.

  • @lykkeej Wow thats not very nice Arizona is a good school

  • @lykkeej too true man too true ahhahaha

  • @fphor20 suck it

  • go hawks

  • GO HUSKIES! I seriously thought they were going to lose that game.

  • i didn't

  • How were you watching the game?

  • Go Huskies!!! We have some Cougar jokes up on our site!

  • UW SUCKS!!!

  • @HaloWarsFreak you suck at life cuz your a halo wars freak hahahaha

  • damn. go iowa hawkeyes. we beat AZ cuzz AZ is crap

  • It's official: PAC-10 officials truly are the suckiest in the land. What a pity if Arizona comes up a tiebreak short of the Rose Bowl.

  • Yeah, what a pity that Foles choked and threw it way behind his receiver in a crucial situation.

  • thats not choking, moron

so since jake locker is everyone's 2nd best QB in the land, why is your record so poor?

    overrated much?

a choke would be if usc loses in the poinsettia bowl

not a fucking rookie on the road in the best conference with as obvious as day, some poor officials on the field

  • @SHAKEITSHAKETHATBEAR they use the highest quality cameras for the refs to review, so they can see much more then you can, im pretty sure they got it right. and our losses were very good close games, not like we got smashed

  • @DopeNastiness

    they got it wrong

tell me how the ball goes towards one way and bounces back the other

A: b/c it hit the ground. if not, then you and a scientist can come tell me

  • @SHAKEITSHAKETHATBEAR

meaning it bounced from the ground to the cleat

I've watched it many a time on tv

oh and your season was ended at Cal, not here or to Oregon. fucking bullshit, the Cats are never all real. they beat the top teams and lost to the lowers in their best season ever maybe. fucking stupid

  • @SHAKEITSHAKETHATBEAR uh, the ball wouldn't bounce like that if it hit the ground. if you can throw a spiral at the ground and make it bounce directly back at you than your some kind of special.

  • @DopeNastiness Ummm. Actually it can. It's very easy to do actually. Back in high school, waiting for practice to begin, I did it all the time on our field turf. It's not hard to throw a spiral down on the ground, and have it bounce right back up into your hands.

  • @DopeNastiness Huh? Jesus, everything you write is amazing. How do they use the highest quality cameras? The highest quality cameras are HD cameras. And ummmmmm last time I checked, they do have HD TV's. Your comments are classic.

  • This was the moment that set the huskies on to an increidible run of 3 straight losses and jake locker's elimination as a heisman candidate. ha ha ha ha. next season the only wildcat foot that will be going anywhere will be the one going up the huskies ass down in tucson.ha ha ha.

  • Ha ha ha that is so funny because what play makers are going to be returning for the wildcats? Even Gronkowski is trying to jump ship. At least the Huskies skill positions should be stacked. The defence will still be bad but we will be able to blow you guys out.

  • A ha ha ha aww man, what a razzling retard. you obviously dont watch a lot of arizona football, gronkowski is a bad ass and he might leave which sucks but we have still been able to win games without him this year. we have even survived without grigsby. AZ football goes by a team concept not about single playmakers, get your facts straight and have fun going to the toilet bowl on the bright side, you guys didnt go 0-12. ha ha ha ha

  • Im sorry Arizona now ranked 19 bitches!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • Comment removed

  • It clearly hit the turf...that's what you call home field advantage! And technically, it wasn't an interception. To be an interception you must catch the ball as the other QB throws it, NOT OFF THE FLOOR/FOOT OF SOMEONE ELSE! Anyhow, I do agree WU is a good team this year...I mean look where they came from last year. So they beat AZ, who cares...there is no way WU will go to a bowl this year anyhow.

  • Actually, that's incorrect. A ball that deflects off of any part of the body is still considered an interception. If you take a look at the game statistics, it goes down in the books as an interception.

  • Horrible...AZ Fan here...aint whining but that ball hit the ground. Bear Down CATS!!

  • Give it a rest, AZ fans. Your QB shouldn't have thrown such an awful pass. He dominated the whole game, but when it came down to it, he threw a terrible pass on this play and then threw another INT on what could have been the game winning drive.

The scoreboard will never change. Washington beat Arizona. You can whine all you want, but it will never change. Sorry.

  • LOL, I'm not a Washington fan. I just think it's funny how whiny the AZ fans are.

  • I don't mind Arizona and I would love to see them beat Oregon and be Pac-10 champs. Anything to keep Oregon out of the rose bowl.

  • is that English?

  • no. American. you fucking wank

it may be english tho b/c your sports have just as poor referees as we do in our football aka "soccer" you bitch

  • i still can't understand you

  • I bet. congratulations dickwad

  • i was at that game it was fuckin amazin 2 see something like that happen to uw after all the shit they went threw last year between not winnig a single game or that bullshit call in the byu game it's about time they get some kind of break.

  • And by some kind of break you mean another bullshit call that happened to go in UW's favor? That...was...crap.

  • dude 1st off all how is that a bull shit call. they showed and reviewed the play multiply times and it clearly hit his foot. second the refs could of called a multiple of intitional grounding and holding calls on arizonia but they didn't so shut the fuck up dude.

  • Haha and Wahington is in no way better than Arizona on both sides of the ball. Dont be suprised if Arizona beats USC this year

  • Ohh shit the ball did hit the ground! Arizona got ripped! But they now ranked number 22

  • Stop it at 1:08 the ball hit the ground. Arizona is now ranked 22 in the nation and is better than washington. washington only won with the help of pac-10 officials.

  • Actually, what you're seeing at 1:08 is the ball hit the receiver's back foot. Look a little more closely before crying foul. In addition, there's this rule of "inconclusive evidence" required to overturn a call...ever heard "there was not enough evidence...ruling on the field stands"? TD Washington. You could go back & forth all day, but clearly from the ND game, Pac-10 officials are not on UW's side.

  • or u could just get the call right and no need for review

not to mention the Pac has poor review rules

and this has made Zona even with oregon which in fact they should be tops at 5-0, but who am I to vouch for that

my blue devils are finally decent at football but its annoying to see the Cats have games stolen from them when theyre finally legit

  • Watch the turf kick up as he drags his foot. (:53) Then watch the turf kick up when the ball hits it. (:54) I agree it did hit his foot but it also hit the ground! Incomplete Pass!!!

  • that was definitly off his foot only no ball hit the ground which totally sucks

    GO COUGS

  • i was watching this on tv and got so mad because i am a cougs Fan HUSKIES SUCK lucky and i mean lucky win but really cool play

  • if it bounced off the ground the ball wouldnt have bounced the other way

the turf would have suctioned the force of the ball into the ground and would have slowly bounced in the same direction.

  • ball hit the ground, period!

  • And to add insult to injury the Seahawks are going to kick some serious Tardinal ass tomorrow... GO HAWKS!!!

  • Awesome!!!

  • Well if Arizona would have scored 4 touchdowns instead of kicking 4 FIELD GOALS they wouldnt have to worry about anything. They deserved to lose if they couldnt punch it in. They COUGED it just face the facts and quit hatin. BOW DOWN

  • Woof.

  • Fuck The Refs,

That totally hit the ground and the foot at the same time, Arizona man handled them, its just the score that says otherwise.

But Don't Worry ASU will beat em

  • hey duckdude you suck.

    GO HUSKIES

  • @ManlyHaussinator yeah matt scotts better

  • A few thoughts:

    1) Ball hit the ground, Huskies got lucky

    2) Foles needs a haircut

    3) Ducks will win the Pac-10

    4) UW sucks, UA sucks slightly less because they should have won this game

  • 1) Nope.

    2) Yup.

    3)You're funny.

    4)Nope.

  • Bow Down to Washington! Mighty are the Men who wear the Purple and the Gold! That ball clearly came off the foot.Yea! UW Football is back baby!

  • I go to ASU so I dislike the wildcats very much...but U of A got jacked here..that ball hits the turf a fraction of a second before it hits the cleat and bounces back and up into the arms of the DB...clearly a blown call.

  • Nope.

  • Friggin' Huskies

  • The WR feet are stationary when that random bit of rubber flies up... im guessing for magic or something not from the ball whose nose is at the same spot

  • You forgot the WRs feet, silly.

  • And to say SCOREBOARD is stupid. Arizona kicked their as and lost on the SCOREBOARD. That random guy beat LeBron in horse but that doesn't mean he was better at basketball. Or horse for that matter. The dude hit some lucky shots. Still dumb for Arizona to be passing tho haha

  • Snoboarders a tard... it changed direction when it hit his foot u idiot, of course it hit his foot, right at the same time it hit the ground. . And ya the WR slid up some rubber but then the ball kicks up some more .. quite obvious if watch it

  • yeah ljflight23, you must be right... the ball clearly bounces off the ground and then completely changes direction on its own, after a line-drive pass.

  • u can see a little black blur randomly show up about an inch away from any part of his foot and right by the nose of the ball If that isn't the ball hitting the ground someone please give me another explanation.

  • Its a shadow... and about the turf, that is from the WR sliding against the turf.

  • honestly who wants to win like that. I would go back to the locker room feeling guilty like I just robbed a bank.

  • What a fun game. UW!

  • Comment removed

  • Astroturf has little rubber fragments in it to make the turf softer. You can clearly see rubber fragments fying off the ground right where the nose of the football hits the ground. Just keep watching from :50 to :54 and you will see it. Oh and i hope u feel good UW, u got ur ases handed to u and then won on a late hit and a bull shi play. Anybody who watched that game knew who the better team was. But thanks to refs with no balls to change the call arizona got shafted.

  • WIn is a win. Who cares how. Only thing that matters is who comes out on top. So keep sayings stuff about "Who played better" and "Who was the better team". All I have to say is....SCOREBOARD!!

  • If that were SEC officials it would have been blown dead! hahaha

Send us some good officials please, this Kentucky fan is tired of the crap we deal with in the SEC.

  • The ball would not of bounced backwards if it hit the ground. It clearly hit his cleat and bounced backwards to the defender. Nice Play!!

  • DUCK SEASON!

  • @holgatehawk 43-19 bitch

  • wow I wish I could do that in Madden.

  • The ball didn't hit the ground. It clearly hit the receiver's foot and bounced up into the air right to the d-back. Sour grapes, Zona.

  • At 1:08 in stop motion, all I see is it hitting his back foot (and the angle of the boucne supports this). However, even if it did touch the ground, the replay review didn't have conclusive evidence to overrule the ruling on the field.

  • ground

  • I don't watch college football whatsoever and have no bias towards any team, but that ball definitely did also hit the ground along with his foot.

  • I dont see how a blurry youtube video shows any evidence of the ball touching the turf. all i see is the ball bouncing off the tip of his boot. and even if it did hit the ground, its about time that the Dawgs got some good luck. i think the cats will bounce back from this loss. they looked very impressive.

  • it seems clear in the third camera-angle the ball hit the ground. Good ole home-field advantage?

  • From the frames at 0:54-0:55, it seems that the ball touched the turf.

  • OldBeigeGuy, a close-up view at 1:08 proves conclusively the ball is touching the ground. Check it out!

  • that ball clearly hit the ground but its ok the wildcats will grow strong from this loss trust me GO WILDCATS

  • I've watched that thing 20 times (in person and on film) and never seen any evidence of it hitting the ground. Neither did any of the Arizona fans with whom I was sitting.

  • Look at 0:54. You can see the point of the ball hit the turf and kick up the little black rubber pellets. I am SHOCKED that so many people fail to see this.

That is irrefutable evidence. Should have overturned the call.

  • Yeah, it probably hit the ground... but after the way U-Dub got screwed over in South Bend.. they deserved a break..

  • if it hit the ground, it was a graze. it wouldn't have affected very much how the ball bounced back (look how the ball was spinning right before and after it hit the foot around 0:52). i doubt his foot could move since he still hada lot of weight on it. unless you can show me clearly that the ball hits dirt under all that grass, argument about this is pointless. it could've gone either way. if it was called incomplete on the field, it would stand. sometimes games will be decided on pure luck.

  • The ball it the ground ...any one can see that. I can't believe they didn't call it or atleast put it back on slow motion but I forgot the only way UW can win is with there purple referee...have they ever won an away game...?

  • that ball hit the ground ...but both these teams suck so who cares?

  • all of you people saying the ball hit the ground are in SERIOUS need of a physics class. if the ball hit the ground, the ground wouldve absorbed some of the force, and no way in hell does the ball bounce backwards with the force it did. physics is not subjective, it is absolute. IF the ball hit the ground, then the shoe, there is no possible way the ball would bounce the way it did. it CLEARLY bounced off the shoe, physics say so.

  • it looks like the ball hit the ground and the shoe simultaneously. the tip grazed the ground; i can see a mark in the field right when the ball touched. the majority of the impact was with the shoe. i don't care about either team, so i'm not biased about this.

  • Have you heard about the conservation of momentum? Your argument will not be valid for both quantum and classical physics because if the ball hits his foot only, his foot will move, therefore the momentum of the ball bouncing back will be lesser. If the ball hits the ground, the ground won't move, the ball will bounce back with greater momentum (directly proportional to velocity). According to my knowledge of physics, the ball hits both his foot and the ground at the same time.

  • Not really what I would call "immaculate" but more of a fortuitous fluke

  • Arizona Should have won this game, the ball HITS THE GROUND!!!!!!!! @ 1:08

  • I'm a HUGe Washington fan, but in my honest estimation the ball hit the ground. However, not conclusive to overturn the field decision.

  • it clearly caught mostly foot, and MAY have touched the ground. but you can't overturn on an estimate, you need real evidence! go dawgs

  • 1:08 touch the ground... There needs to be some new refs on that field, because any real ref would see that it needed to be reviewed. There is some bias on that field...Maybe there needs to be some cougar refs where they actually can see the truth, and then the husky can earn their touch downs. :o)

  • are u retarded it caught some of it not all of it more was on foot

    get some glasses douche bag

  • Who are you arguing for? Of course it hit his foot. Nobody is saying it didn't. It did however, ALSO touch the ground. Therefore, incomplete pass.

  • it wasnt at the video it was a reply to another persons comment

  • THEY DID REVIEW IT YOU COUGAR FAGGOT

  • that game was soooo awesome!!!!!!!

    GO DAWGS!!!!

  • Official was right there. No way it hit the ground. It was just a beautiful bounce. Once Husky stadium woke back up the poor Arizona players didn't know what hit them. It was a totally different game. I could watch this over and over and over!

  • Mr. Loyola - Arizona has the most beautiful women in the world? lol, surely you jest. try this on for size, ive lived in Los Angeles my entire life other than the three years i went to graduate school at Washington. would you still like to compare weather and women? yeah, thats what i thought.

  • at 0:53, the receiver taps the ball right before the disputed bounce, so it did hit (at least) his right shoe shown by how the ball bounced back like that, but that tap makes knowing how the ball would've bounced if it indeed hit the ground esp. difficult. so whatever the call, interception or incomplete, the call on the field would stand. it was just hard-knock luck the Cats didn't get the call in their favor. sorry AZ, but it happens.

  • MASON! hopefully this isn't the last time you reach the endzone!

    BALLIN up there in washington!

  • not that amazing

  • YEAH!!! GO UW! I could have been there. :(

  • Even if it WAS the wrong call, Arizona had their chance to redeem themselves, but threw it all away- literally, into UW's hands.

    GO DAWGS!

  • Although not conclusive, at 0:21 the ball did indeed hit the ground. That was AFTER the ball crossed the goal line for a TOUCHDOWN WASHINGTON! WOOF!!!! GO DAWGS!!!!!

  • The officials reviewed this play and confirmed the touchdown. Call was made game is over and was crazy.

  • Which foot is everyone looking at? If you think the ball bounced off the top or side of his left foot, and hit the ground before or at the same time, watch it again. Dean's right foot is difficult to see because the sole of the shoe is black, but the ball bounces of the bottom of his right foot.

More importantly, someone told me that the air-raid siren that sounds after every Husky score is now just a recording?

  • The truth is that if you're a Washington fan you say it hit his foot, and if you're an Zona fan it hit the ground. As an arizona wildcat I'm not that mad that they got the call wrong, because at the end of the day I go to school with the most beautiful women in the world who barley wear any clothing because the weather is perfect the entire year. However UDUB students have to deal with some of the worst weather on the planet...but hey at least you guys won a football game this year. That's cool!

  • You are so right. The clear and sunny weather we had was unbearable. Worst weather on the planet... haha

  • at 0:54 you can see that he hits the ball into his foot, and it bounces right to the UW linebacker. legit call, legit play... what a game

  • ball never hit the ground... cry me a river arizona fans

  • Someone get me a puke bucket!!

  • I agree mooseclamps, ball hits ground at 1:07, the shoe the ball is in front of is at 90 degrees to ground, other angles show shoe is not long enough to be under the ball ... ball bounces up & back with spin, the ground gives the up motion & the shoe gives the back motion ... combined with at 0:54 black mark on the ground happens just after the ball hits, convinces me the ref made wrong call on this very unusual play... recommend NCAA show this video to replay referees, to improve future calls.

  • Yup. at 1:08 it hit the ground. Maybe my time is a little off yours, but on tv in HD we would CLEARLY see it hit the ground

  • God you wildcats are SUCH crybabies! You never lose a game you're ripped off by the refs or the other team cheats...it looks to me like it bounced off his shoe; and certainly it's not "irrefutable evidence" that it hit the ground. Suck it up, dudes. I mean. Really.

  • Instead of talking about dust that "must" come from the nose of the ball, let us see an image SHOWING the BALL in contact with the FIELD. You can't, cuz there is no such image on this clip. BUT that is what you would need to overturn the call.

  • ryanjmcdonald i am with you! this was a TERRIBLE call! i have watched that countless times AND IT HIT THE GROUND AFTER HIS SHOE! this a 100% percent TERRIBLE CALL and definitely not Dela's fault! once again the refs screw arizona! they can't stand to see us have success ughhhhhh

    BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!

  • I was at the game, and at the time I just figured wow, what luck. After seeing the video, I'll admit...I think the ball touched the ground. BUT - the booth made the right call because there is not indisputable evidence that it did not hit the ground. Based on the rule book, it was the right call.

  • At 1:07 it very clearly hits the ground. Not sure why that wasn't overturned. But hey, I'm glad for UW, they've had to suffer a lot, good to see them get some wins.

  • HUSKIES BABY!!

  • on the field they made the call they thought was right. every play is reviewed in college football and the man up in the booth messed this one up big time

  • The black marks are due to the FieldTurf brand of artificial turf, which is not the same as "Astro Turf", which is what the Husky Stadium used to have back in 1999, when it was replaced.

  • Anyone that posts that this was a "terrible call" needs to remember that refs can't see in super slow, frame by frame, motion. They made what looked like the right call on the field, and there was not enough evidence to overturn. It was called right.

  • it's easier to see in full screen mode, right at 0:54 seconds, after the black marks raised by the shoes have stopped, there is a new black mark that corresponds to the nose of the football hitting the ground. Watch it a few times on full screen and it seems clear that the only thing that could cause that mark is the football. The only nearby shoe is tipped at almost 90 degrees to the ground and the marks that shoe created have already gone away.

  • In order to overturn the original call, it has to be conclusive evidence that the ball hit the ground. If you asked 100 non-biased people, would all 100 agree that it hit the ground? No possible way. They got the call right.

  • I'm not a fan of Arizona or Washington. After watching this video several times, It looks like they got the call right.

If that ball hits the ground there is no way it pops up like it did. Also he hit the ball with his hand first which made it bounce weird off his shoe.

  • at exactly :54 and :55 pause it... you can see the black rubber dots come up off the ground. The ball hit his shoe then the ground terrible call

  • I know it was the magic football! It defies the laws of physics. Was that a Nike ball? What will they think of next?
