@jeffax123 I do that sometimes but when you cast out at the end of the cast you get the worn crappy part and it stinks when it snaps with tons of line out.. :(
@jooleyen It's not that good of a tip. My reason is that some day's you cast farther then other because of wind condition. If I fish with a 5-10mph wind, I get at least an extra 20-30yard difference more. Also, you don't want knots sliding through the rings. You might get a snap and you'll feel really crappy.
@Moe7133 I been doing this for years and never had a prob. Also listen to what i say!! Get your furthest Cast with a lure that you get the most on then strip some out. Then retie to that.
@TeamRippnLipz1 My friend made one for school film a while back and he just showed his rod and reel combos and talked about what he used them for and if he liked them.
@flurbsmcgurgs Well on the frog setup i use a 2pc Field & Stream IM6, There $24.99 @ Dick sporting goods. So i got like 8 of um. There MH 7" 2pc rods, There a perfect all round fishing baitcast rod, I love with my quantum tour reel and 50lbs braid for throwing my frogs
@FreshwaterAngling Hatin' on the Citica?!? Haha, to each their own, but I love the reel! Looking to go bigger and better next year, but it's been solid for me, especially for $120.
Nice video Rippn, good tip for those who have a tight budget. Why waste line if you don't need to; I like it.
@BassinNW No. I like all my reels. Just sense i been using so many diff reels i notice things. Like the citica and curado gears and drag brake Suck. compared to the quantum's, But i still like using um
why dont you buy a spare reel and reel the line on the spare reel so you get double the line useage
