  • You have a nice voice but you need to sing more from your diaphram. It'll help you to sustain notes.

  • What do you think of the Acoustix version of this song? Also it would be great to hear a better recording of this! Some white noise in the background will usually keep the microphone engaged to keep it from dead air.

  • Thank you for sharing this wonderful song and sang so beautifully. Peace be with you and yours

  • beautiful

  • Thanks a lot for this beautiful video :) Andreas

  • Beautiful voice. Very Irish sounding, makes me want to cry. Lovely, just lovely.

  • Hi There;

What a beautiful recording. I am teaching a play which uses this song, and I've been looking for a version to play for my students to help them understand how it should sound. Your recording is my favourite. I was wondering if you might consider sending me the mp3 file of this song so that I could play it for them?

  • awesome

  • Do your record?

  • My father used to sing me all kinds of songx. I especially loved the Irish song "Four Green Fields" by Kathleen Largey (the way she sings it is the way my dad taught me). I've never heard this one though, and so I really appreciate you sharing it. It's a beautiful song, and your such a wonderfully singer.

  • Beautiful song. Makes me sad, i lost my mother but a few months ago. And might I say, I think you have a beautiful voice. I hope that you continue to share your voice with the rest of the world. :D

  • Thank you for your wonderful comment.

  • This was wonderfully sung, especially compared to the other videos I've seen. For one reason, you have the emotional attachment for this to hold that heart which makes the lullaby tug at your heartstrings. That's not something you oft' hear these days, as you might notice. It's more about the performance, rather than the connection.

Your mum was a beautiful lady as well. She'd be very proud of you.

  • Thanks for being so kind, i have poured out my heart on this one, glad you could hear that.

  • This is touching beyond anything I think I've heard.

When times are hard may hardness

Never turn your heart to stone,

    May you always remember

    when the shadows fall—

    You do not walk alone.

  • thanks for being so kind, it came from the heart.

  • God we irish are awsome and u did great job on the song, im sure ur grandma would be proud and i hope u sing it to ur kids(if you have them) cuz i kno i will

  • Oh my goodness this is SO lovely. So soft. Made me sense your sadness there ... but I'd bet my bottom dollar you've got some wonderful memories stored up inside too.

Very pretty tribute and I love that you did this acapella. Quite fitting.

  • i am soooooooooo sorry...my grandpa isn't doing too good either...when he came to visit...he had a hard time breathing...and sometimes we had to stop and make sure he was breathing...like when he was sleeping...so we are going to visit him at Christmas...i am sooooo sorry about your mom...i pray that you feel God's love and peace. Love you!

  • 5 Stars Awesome :-)

  • Beautiful, just beautiful, but really you need to turn the REVERB down a little bit. You don't want your songs just swimming in reverb. Musicmanelvis

  • Yes, and I need something better to record with, as I sound better at home then on you tube.

  • Hi my friend,

Beautiful voice, A real Irish Girl 5*****x2 God bless you always.
