The fella at 0:09 was Bruce the ocelot. Mostly ornery, he did a lot of growling and clawing. The baddies weren't too nice to him; locked in a desk drawer once, tangled in his safety blanket another time. He got a real kick out of watching "Daktari," especially with Honey & Sam keeping him company. The oddity was that "Daktari" was shown on CBS, a competing network.
This has never screened in New Zealand to my knowledge. Perhaps with Anne's passing an episode or a tribute show will be screened. I would love to see more of her. She may be the most beautiful woman the world has ever seen.
As the live staff announcer might have added at :51, "Watch the premiere of 'HONEY WEST' this Friday at 9, 8 Central Time, over most of these stations..".
all these james bond ripoffs really disappeared into nowhere....MAN FROM UNCLE was a bigger hit, and that disappeared too.

Just started watching the reruns on the local MeTV affilliate. Good show. Get a kick out of the humor. Anne Francis was an awesome lady. RIP.

I always loved the retarded sexual innuendos of the 50s & 60s.
"Who can argue with a 38? Caliber that is."
Wow, that's clever.

As a child I assumed that this show was very much like real life.

A real insight as to how how 'Gillian's Island ' was the TV ratings champ in this era...

Thanks goodness for Honey West. She gave us gals some female-power. She, Anne Francis, is a beloved person today in Santa Barbara. XX Margie Bang
