  • Aren't you suppose to do more than one round? You said 7, but thats just 7 continuous for one round. I mean, the weight is impressive but I thought it was suppose to be 5 rounds of 7 sets

  • no controling the weight there man be carefull ;)

  • Great form on everything. For my schools football/ lacrosse program, we go right from the front and back squats into the push press in one motion. But solid job

  • do u idiots know anything about crossfit.? the bear isnt meant for spped. its heavy weight and then u increase from that weight. and crossfit is the best hardcore workout for your body. almost every WOD is a full body movement workout. which is proven to be better for u then just doing squats or just doing curls. FSU CROSSFIT BROSKIES

  • @curtisjacob74 cool story bro.

  • @curtisjacob74 The Bear is a one of those exercises known as "complexes" which are meant to put the body under a full, intensive, power building exercise. If done correctly, complexes are done under medium weight conditions, so the weight isn't incredibly easy but can be done quickly. This generates the mos calorie loss and recruits the most muscle fibers.

Crossfiters also generally have terrible, injury-prone form, and aren't regarded as highly knowledgeable for making ideal routines.

  • Try heavier weights......less reps.....your form suffers from that crossfit shit....it rapes your knees and other joints..

  • Hey....I gotta give you props......that is some hardcore stuff you just did ...I'm a good 170 lbs....I don't think I could handle what you did bro...that is some fat burning shit you just accomplished...

  • i reckon that is too heavy for you as you should be going much quicker

  • Great form, really. Having seen videos of other people doing the bear the amount of form issues I saw was staggering, but you've got it down pat here.

  • Great job Dave, great form!

  • how much weight?

  • @Mikemaladar really? look at the title..

  • @h0lystrike I assumed that meant how much HE weighed... I was wondering how much he's lifting

  • @Mikemaladar oh i'd hope he is more than 135lbs! I paused and looks like the weight he is lifting is 135. He probably has a mass of 150-160

  • @h0lystrike @Mikemalador I weighed about 190lbs in this video and there was 135lbs on the bar. Sorry if the title is a little confusing.

  • great form

  • dude, careful with your wrists when you're going into/doing the back squat... That just looks really bad for them.

  • @psychogh0st I have to agree here, I prefer the low back squat myself, it's easier to support

  • good job, i just did this today.....its pretty tuff

  • the bear is 7 sets of the sequence, 5 rounds. most people start the early rounds with less weight and then get the heavy stuff towards the end.

  • @jeeperjus Yup. When I first read it I was like "all five rounds with 135?!" Holy! lol "In THREE MINUTES?!?!? WTF?!?!?" lol

  • Yeah, sorry I was confusing people. I just got video of one round.

  • @dpsiaki 135LB is still impressive though man. Didn't mean to downplay your capabilities at all by my comment :-) Great Job
