Some may not agree, but this is one of the best scenes in an action movie, ever. The ambiance was perfect and the music matched up so well to the scene and the slow motion. I remember watching this scene and feeling chills running up and down my spine. It's rare that you seen this kind of work in action films. This was Cameron's first moment of true magic. Didn't even need special effects for this. It was jut cinematic genius.

Terminator Salvation was an excellent film. I don't see how people hate it. Some people say, "Because the terminator just throws John around". Yeah, well, look at the beginning of Terminator 2. Arnold hurts 0 people, and thats BEFORE he swears to john not to kill. They purposely threaten Arnold, and he still let's them all live.

@WarOfSalvation Arnold wasnt made to kill those people. Arnold's main objective is to kill John Connor, and in Terminator Salvation, he throws him around instead of completing his objective and killing him. Salvation was a good movie, but not a true terminator sequel, at least it was better then Terminator 3, which just sucked.

I know that the slow-motion scene at 2:05 is done for effect, but does anyone else think it's symbolically tied to the storyline? To be more specific, the Terminator canon says that Sarah *has* to live to give birth to John, so that humanity can ultimately triumph over the Terminators. When she knocks over the cup and the Terminator *barely* misses her, it's like the fabric of reality is warping. The entire history of mankind is *this* close to extinction, hence the psychedelic slow-motion.
