  • Thank God somebody mentioned this point. No such thing as a free lunch.

  • Except for "High Quality" actually means 37th best quality in the world with the highest price in the world by 20% to its nearest competitor and 40th to it's 3rd closest competitor as rated by the World Health Association.

I may not like any of the current plans, but I don't know how anybody could question our need for reform. The republicans should be writing their own plan instead of just taking the stance of saying no to every policy the democrats dole out.

  • Forgive the late reply. I've been at sea.

Where, exactly, are medical services superior in quality to those available in the US? I have been all over the world and have not seen it first hand. The complaint about the US system always comes down to who pays- I say again: TANSTAAFL

  • Just google world health organization rankings.

  • Aside from the fact that the WHO is an arm of the notoriously anti-American United Nations, I have personally been treated at clinics in some of those places and know better. I am currently cruising the Pacific Northwest between Canada and the US and, trust me, to rank Canada higher than the US in this is ludicrous. Canadians routinely cross the border for medical services they cannot get at home. Facts are stubborn things.

You can believe the UN if you want to. I'll trust my own experience.

  • my friend's daughter UK born lives in LA they are rich she had exceptionally certious care but when it came to the medical side it was Not as good as the Briitish National health Service French national health service after a servey was voted best in the world so is Scandinavian health service german n spanish health service too usa the bastions of plutogracy the rich rob the poor 30M bellow the poverty line 55 M No medical cover 120 M inadequate M. cover the poor fight the rich get riches

  • Sorry, I don't want a Republican plan any more than a Democrat plan. There is no authority in the Constitution for government involvement, to such an invasive extent, in any private sector business.

And that "37th best" is BS. What country has better health care and on what basis is that assessment made?

  • Zero,

    Google world health organization rankings.

  • Ah, that's where you got your info. Never mind.

  • thank you for correcting me!. i was upset at the time re hate vid i just heard . sorry

  • republicans just cant seem to quit. you didnt complain under Bush. the reason government is made is for the public good. Dah. rules so we drive on right side of the road and the right side of love for humanity. cut weapons instead, make more friends than enemys etc.

  • Do you have a specific comment on the content of my video or have you just (Incorrectly) assumed that I am a republican and supported GWB?

If you disagree with any of the points I made, I await your logical, fact-based argument and enlightenment.

  • Hey remove 15 % of the army budget and u got ur healt care system in usa dude.

  • We already have gov't-run health care; it's called Medicare and Medicaid. They're going broke much faster than even Social Security, with unpaid liabilities 5x larger. Our un-representing representitives have run that (and many other) programs straight into the ground. Now they want more money and another chance. We're fools to be so easily lead, and as the Capn. says - "expect a free lunch". Ignorance is a very expensive commodity, but its the one thing we're over-stocked with.
