The video has a bias. Studies show Spinal manipulation is more effective than the author implies. However, when it comes to judging chiropractic doctors, I agree 90% with c0nc0rdance. Chiropractic specialists may also surpass proficiency and knowledge of individual MD specialists. I have met chiropractic doctors who are specialists in their own field in the whole sense of the word.
The author of this video is clearly biased toward allopathic medicine and has an agenda to discredit Chiropractic. He seems to be well read in Chiropractic history and should realize that the allopathic agenda against Chiropractic is nothing new and continues to be unsuccessful whenever true facts are presented. Even to the point of the Supreme Court ruling in Chiropractic's favor in an Anti-trust lawsuit. Mainstream medicine is not any more scientific than Chiropractic. The British Medical Jou
@TranscendentLifestyl Please provide evidence of the video authors agenda. If you cannot provide any then please present your apology on this channel as soon as you are able, thanks
After reading the dogmatic comments of a few heavily indoctrinated chiropractic initiates posting here, I realize that no amount of rational discourse will persuade them. Much like it is nigh impossible to use logic and rationalism to deconvert almost all religious fanatics, those adhering to a chiropractic faith cannot be swayed by reason and application of the scientific model. They display an impertinent insolence towards medical science and it's establishment. They are heavily marginalized
@Mongoose772 Long ago I spoke much like the heavily indoctrinated people you're talking about. If I am not unique, then there is value in making logical reasoned arguments to unreasonable emotional people. Many people whose arguments eventual opened my mind to critical thought and inquiry, likely have no idea, how they affected me. If they had not made their efforts, I doubt I would be much less ignorant, than I was, when I was a child.
I wonder who has more influence on our perceptions, which become our beliefs, which becomes who we are. Big pharma telling us we are deficient in drugs and that is why we become sick or chiropractors who tell us we are not sick we have the strength to heal ourselves and that strength comes from within. Which would you rather have influencing who you are? I know chiropractic philosophy is complicated and honestly not everyone can understand it. The easiest way to understand chiropractic is t
I was surprised to find out chiropractic was part of the faculty of science at my university, since I'd always thought it to be pseudoscience. I've since become suspicious of split "personalities" in chiro: students must get a BSc & most courses are science; but the chiro parts of the degree just seem like physiotherapy or orthopaedics. Also, most students in chemistry seem to be chiro students, which pisses me off, because none of them want to learn science (tho' it may convert some later on).
I find it somewhat interesting when someone uses a minority group of a profession to explain the entire profession ie. chiropractic. The art and science of the chiropractic profession has evolved like other health sciences. The literature (Spine Journal) supports spinal manipulation as a safe option for low back conditions. Other health care providers manipulate the spine much like chiropractors. The notion that all health care that's provided is absolutely based on science is nonsense.
Chiropractic is a speciality within the physical medicine community. Modern chiropractic involves manual medicine techniques specifically osseous manipulaton of the spine and extremities. There's an abundance of literature that supports spinal manipulation as a safe and effective treatment for certain neuromusculoskeletal conditions such as certain back pain/dysfunction conditions. There's a major turf war among physical medicine providers ie.s phy. therapists and chiropractors. Both manipulate.
This video's author is lobbying for no alternative medicine. Chinese medicine has been around 2000 years, & could teach this arrogant numbskull who is terrified of anyone finding a cure outside of mainstream medicine when it's mainstream medicine which has maimed, & killed countless numbers of patients by pushing dangerous drugs, making addicts out of them, cutting off the wrong foot, making billions by not finding a cure for cancer, billions made to keep patients sick! Yet these QUACKS go on.
Simple question for you, then. Was the life expectancy of a Chinese person 1000 years ago longer or shorter than it is today? What about 100 years ago? 10 years ago?
@C0nc0rdance I'll tell you one thing for sure...the chinese definitely don't live longer due to medicine, they live longe now than 1000 years ago due to huge advances in agriculture practices, sewage and water systems, etc. The day you achnowledge that a body that is allowed to function with less inhibition, will survive longer...only then will you get "The Big Idea". For now, receive chiropractic dis-ease preventing and correcting spinal adjustments and lifestyle counseing. Chiropractic is it!
@C0nc0rdance_Your logic & rhetoric SUCK! Changing the subject doesn't negate my very truthful statements above. Damage is done to trusting patients by mainstream medicine including the horrid side-effects of pharmaceuticals, many treatments used & unnecessary surgical procedures, etc. Sometimes you need a mainstream dr., & sometimes you need an acupuncturist, etc. You're studying rhetoric & logic aren't you, you're not a real doctor are you, they're supposed to be open minded!
@Pheromone2U the benefits of evidence based medicine most often far outweighs the harm. but of course the question put to you by concordance, in fact, eloquently refutes any ambiguous claim made by you.
what scientifically demonstrative benefits attributed to Chinese medicine can you enlighten us with?
i will assume, you are a pro homeopathy, pro tea leaf reading, pro reincarnation, pro hollow earth, pro homoreptilian since you are so open minded and all....
@Pheromone2U He is open minded. He gathers the evidence then makes a judgement based on that evidence. How do you define open minded? I only ask because you said sometimes people need an acupuncturist which leads me to believe you will believe anything.
@C0nc0rdance The type of food(s) that people are ingesting these days that are contaminated with chemicals are shortening everyones life. There are still people out there that are living over 100 years old.
Sure. More people than ever are living to very old age. If "chemical contamination of food" is shortening lives, then we would expect that the least industrialized nations would have the shortest life spans, but the nations with the best longevity are places like Japan, Sweden and Norway... while rural and non-industrialized nations have the lowest longevity.
@Pheromone2U There is no such thing as "alternative medicine" There is only medicine that works, or medicine that doesn't. How Concordence comes across as arrogant is beyond me, his videos are in my opinion very reasonable. You though sound like a conspiracy theory nut, and upon checking your channel I found out I was right. Please go back to your pseudo science therapies, perhaps you will find a cure for your blindness.
@Pheromone2U One of my favourite quotes on this subject is by Tim Minchin
"By definition alternative medicine has not been proved to work, or been proved not to work. Do you know what they call alternative medicine that has been proved to work? Medicine.
can chiropracticks align a spine or not??? i have a crooked cervicle vertebra thats causing a tilt in my shoulders thats limiting my use of right arm. is that what chiropractors do?
I would strongly suggest you see a medical doctor specializing in orthopedics. Have them check you out and discuss your symptoms. Ask them about whether chiropractic is a good treatment modality for your condition. In many cases, they may recommend physical therapy or chiropractic, and they can help locate the best options.
Attention followers of this trash of a vid...Deborah Bain, MD just released her book; "How a Chiropractor Saved My Life". Though this book is just one out of many MD have written on the wonders of chiropractic, it rams home the point that both chiropractic and medicine are necessary. Dr. Bain, a medical pediatrician, stands steadfastly behind; "Chiropractic first, drugs second, surgery last". Way to go Deborah Bain, MD! Viva Chiropractic!
@urantivirus: I was going to answer your question and actually started typing it and realized that I am wasting my time! You do not deserve an answer to your questions because you really do not want to know anything. You only want to argue and for that reason I am no longer responding to your "ignorance"!! Please educate yourself and stop picking arguments you will never win! Chiropractic works, despite what you or anyone else thinks! continue what you're doing and we'll see who is healthier!
@TheDCwife You got that right. "urantivirus" has a "virus" infecting his upper processing unit. Otherwise, you are doing a fabulous job educating on "Amazing Chiropractic".
"Con"-cordance......If you went to a DC and kept your nervous system functioning properly you wouldn't have problems with heart attacks, labor complications, subdural hematomas or diabetic retinopathy! Everyone knows the power of the nervous system! Don't you or is that why you lost your license??? By the way, these are NOT my claims on medical deaths, this information was posted by the "American College of Physicians"!!
@TheDCwife You go girl! You laid it out so simple for "Con"- cordance. He fails because he repetiviely applies medical procedure to chiropractic...impossible. Go Chiropractic!
Want to know how safe chiropractic is? Compare the malpractice insurance premiums between them and medical doctors! The proof is in the premium!! The Institute of Medicine (IOM) report on medical errors created an intense public response by stating that between 44,000 and 98,000 hospitalized Americans die each year as a result of preventable medical errors. An article written by the "American College of Physicians"!! All the medical profession knows how to do is cut it out or prescribe!!
I'm afraid that's a rather poor comparison. A DC is about as useful as a janitor if someone has a heart attack, has labor complications, a subdural hematoma, or diabetic retinopathy. They don't handle gunshot wounds or MVAs.
Popping someone's back doesn't require as much insurance, because the issues they deal with are self-limiting, subjective pain. I remain unimpressed.
Also, see my video "Deadly Doctor Gambit" for debunking your claim about medical deaths.
It's too bad this video couple is designed as a hit piece against a medicine which has gained international attention and validity over decades of research. Though it was a good thought to throw a couple of crumbs to sound "balanced" (i.e. many MDs at the same time period were also making crazy claims), it was blatantly omissive of modern science in the field. I agree with the freedom of speech bit - nearly everything else was biased, deceptive, and wrong.
@neonsilkworm No, almost everything chiropractic represents is complete supernatural bullshit. Chiropractors remind me of salesmen not medical doctors and they'll try to treat ANYTHING.
@urantivirus Though many major international studies have validified chiropractic and it to be the most effective means to address the spine and nervous system; rather give a placebo than kill someone. Touche! Viva chiropractic!
@chiropractic47 I do think chiropractic can help back problems and other various related problems, it's when chiropractors want to treat babies or my asthma that I start to call bullshit. If you are only concerned with the first part I mentioned, I don't have anything against what you do. Most chiropractors I've met would gladly try to treat anything.
@urantivirus Er, it's mainstream and well accepted that chiropractic is both more effective and safer than drugs for asthma and allergies. Pediatrics is the fastest growing segment of chiropractic. Man! Are you really behind the times. Wake up "urantivirus"!
@chiropractic47 I see, then I go back to my previous statement. Quack quack quack.
You can't con me, your work is for the idiots out there who don't know better. There is no science behind what you do, if there was it would be covered by my country's healthcare. I know people who tried to treat asthma with chiropractic work because they believed in chiropractors. They don't believe in it anymore. The treatment only worked when they continued taking medication.
@urantivirus Wow, too bad...you resort to labeling the medical profession as "quacks". Though medicine is maiming anf killing millions each year outside the emergency room, it's very necessary "in" the emergency room. Both chiropractic and medicine are necessary when applied in the correct fashion. Remember...Chiropractic first, drugs second, surgery last. Be well my fair "quacking duck".
@urantivirus Chiropractors don't "TREAT" anything, that's what m.d.'s do! Medical doctors only prescribe medications to cover up symptoms and cut out organs if they aren't working right! If you knew anything about the nervous system you would understand that without a healthy one your body cannot and will not function properly! Educate yourself before you make such statements! By the way, when was the last time you were prescribed a placebo????? I would really like an answer to that one!
@TheDCwife You sound like you're been brainwashed by your husband. Doctors do treat symptoms, a lot of medication can cure. I'd like to see a chiropractor treat an asthma attack. I think you don't know shit about the nervous system if you think the nervous system is the #1 way to keep people healthy. Doctor's don't need to prescribe me placebos, because they have real medicine that works. Real doctors only use placebos to test medication or to see if someone is really sick. They dont con people.
@TheDCwife "By the way, when was the last time you were prescribed a placebo?"
Never, because when I have real health problems I go to see a real doctor. Did you meet your husband before or after he was a chiropractor? I'm just wondering if you were always this ignorant.
Excellent video. I am currently involved in a chiropractic program for a spinal/sciatic and issue. I am using chiropractic in consort with massage and exercise including yoga. So far the results have been overwhelmingly positive. I have to say that I have always been perturbed by the religious style claims of the Innate that chiropractic systematically dispenses, tho despite these claims I have always understood the biomechanical aspects the practice. Fortunately for me my chiropractor is...
@AgeOfScience ...of the modern and progressive variety who views his practice as a possible compliment to overall health in the context of a healthy lifestyle rather than a supernatural cure-all. I hope to see a reformation within the chiropractic community, one that leaves behind the pseudoscientific claims and focuses on what chiropractic can actually provide as part of a science based treatment program for specific issues.
By the use of medicine, the patient is given a false sense of his or her body no longer being under stress from the presenting symptoms, not solving or resolving the current problem. While i believe that medicine is a vital and necessary application in certain instances, it is not the only mode of treating a patient in need. The basis of healthcare is to help the patient resolve their problems as quickly and effectively as possible. Take off your blinders COncOrdance
Transatlantic is now going to quote for us all a reference to the the study proving that pumping synthetic chemicals into the natural biological environment of the human body is safe, efficacious and superior to natural methods that cant be patented and exploited. It doesn't work in the environment but it does work in the human body and he knows cause he saw it on telly (every night of his existence). Over to you Transatlantic, we are all waiting to see the reference to the double blind R.C.T.

94% if colic babies were fine after steady chiropractic care...you don't go to a chiropractor if you have an ear infection, but you should go regularly to maximize your bodies potential. Chiropractic improves the wellbeing of your entire body by realigning it and allowing freely working impulses that can be not operating at 100 efficiency due to a sublaxation.
you are just a loser with no life, that's why you hate america and waste your time here trolling and stalking people who oppose your creationist crap.
why would a doctor need to know what is osteopathy (i actually know far more than you about it, btw)?
lol... you expose your ignorance again, dumbshit.
i am a doctor, that's what makes you more annoyed! the understanding that be it real life or here! ALL people with an education keep showing that you are a fucking idiotic uneducated creationist moron! LOLOLOL
it's written only inside your head. as what i said was: THERE ARE ONLY DOs in the USA. you just ignore that DOs is not the same as an osteopath! LOL in other countries.
you sure are JUST another stupid ignorant creationist!
lol...are you going to enter FULL retard mode again? please do. it's always a fun to watch you make a fool out of yourself! LOLOL
i said that ONLY in the US osteopathy has any significant expression. the rest of the world doesn't give a fuck about osteopaths. it's just another uneducated, unqualified massage therapist.
and massage therapy is PRECISELY what they promote in most countries.
LOL! As far as rates of fraud, look for those who search for fraud and you'll certainly find insurance fraud agencies prodded by Organized Medicine in an effort to defame chiropractic. Why does it seem the only fraud cases blasted over the airwaves and in print are MD's and pharmacists snared in conspiracies to distribute Oxycodone, etc... Drug Trafficing?
@transtlantic LOL! Failed post. MD's and pharmacist caught in conspiracy to distribute prescription medications is not a crime? Dude...stop popping those Adderals!
@transtlantic we don't prescribe because we choose not to, just like you and medical profs we can take pharmacology and learn about drugs so if we desired we could prescribe, that is what Osteopaths do. Had I wished to give drugs and adjust I simply would have gone to Osteopathy School instead of Chiropractic School. But understanding the difference is a simple choice. For a seemingly smart person you let your ego get in the way of of your mind. Try putting your ego aside, drop the slanders
@DConWheelsLLC you don't prescribe because you lack the education, the qualifications and the responsability to do it. "we can take pharmacology"? retard... it's not just pharmacology that gives you the qualifications and education needed to prescribe. lol.. you sure are ignorant.
"if we desired"? lol... that's not that simple. you need to actually GET an education. which you don't have.
Osteopaths? lol another stupidity that only exists in the US.
@transtlantic obviously you have some deep issues...sorry to see that you seem to have some intellegence somewhere but it is blocked by your egoic rants. Yes I could have went to med school or chiropractic college I chose Chiropractic college over med school, hence "if I we desired...". You really don't understand how to communicate that well do you? I am sad for you.
moron... you don't have the intelligence required to even pass the exams required to enter med school.
hence even if you desired you would never be able to accomplish such desire.
i do understand how to communicate, that's why i am telling you to be realistic: you are JUST an uneducated dumbfuck. you are a chiroquacker, because con crap is all that you can do to try fool yourself and others.
@transtlantic no, med school exams were no problem. chiro just made more sense to me. I've seen blind people see, lumbar stenosis patients walk, blood pressure drop and stay down, colic stop in minutes post adjustment, ear ache pain stop in minutes post adjustment, people walk out that were carried in so much pain. all these things with no drugs or surgery. So why put something into a "system' that doesn't need it? Sure I have also seen people take weeks to respond as well but it all works
@DConWheelsLLC Arguing with this dumb lying mutherfukker is a waste of your time. You don't need to defend chiropractic medicine to the dumshit. He won't understand it. My whole family and many friends have been cured of back injuries by chiropractics. My wife's was in a car wreck and a friend was also in a car wreck and he went to the same one and was cured. My chiropractor taught my wife how to manipulate my back so that I didn't have to come see him. It all works. Trans is an idiot.
@JackSShit . Not arguing or at least trying not to. Debate is always good... and just imagine how many others are reading our "back and forth". So when you talk online remember you are not just talking to the the other poster, you are talking (teaching) the world! So be on your best and don't lose you cool, no reason for slander or profanity that never shows your best side. I know there are millions out there like you with great chiro stories... keep sharing others need to hear YOU!
you are hardly teaching the world...i've been asking to present evidence that chiroquacker is better than a sugar pill for quite some time now...and still no evidence presented.
btw... don't you see a pattern? creationist trolls (uneducated by obvious observation) support you! while EVERYONE with an education disaproves chiroquackery and creationism!
LOLOL in the end i can go to sleep happy: natural selection is a great thing and morons like yourself are in FACT powerless.
@DConWheelsLLC, I'm not here to promote chiropractic. I am here to expose translunatic. I find it funny to be here on a chiropractic vs. science video by JoeMarkLawson (C0nc0rdance). He needs exposing as well. My first encounter with him was his attack on Stevebee's anti-evolution videos. Joe Mark knows nothing about science. He proved that when he argues for evolution and loses. He thinks evolution is science. It's a joke. And he proved he doesn't know anything about science.
you mean the steve bee that blocked and deleted every single peer-reviewed scientific paper that proved his videos wrong? Lol... yeah...that one. i am sure he fears me. lolol
Joe Mark is a qualified expert on a scientific field. steve is a retired failed dentist... uhm....
lolol
when have i ever lost anything against you?
i just have to post this:
PLoS Genet. 2010 Apr 29;6(4):e1000929.
Genetic tests for ecological and allopatric speciation in anoles on an island archipelago.
@DConWheelsLLC, JoeMarkLawson complains about chiropractics because it got some of its beginnings from spiritualism. I do see that as a problem, but JoeMark, fails to see that as a problem with evolution. Darwin was mixed up in witchcraft and most all the founders and promoters of evolution were involved in spiritualism. None of them were real scientists. NONE, but JoeMark doesn't find this as a problem with that side of his outrageous views, but suddenly he uses it to question chiropractics.
Darwin entered med school, graduated in more than two scientific fields, was a fellow of the royal society, was adviser for countless science matters, travelled the world, published, discovered amazing things and influenced human mentality forever. Jesus will be a historical side note, while Darwin's name will live forever in the human knowledge as one of the most influencial personalities.
btw, fucktard...try explain AB resistance w/out using evo theory! see... i proved you wrong
"blind people see"? that is quite a paradox... LOLOL
your claims are entirely unsupported. you have NOTHING that supports your claims.
chiroquacker can't do anything except be massage therapy. it just...massage, and if it is over the cervical spine it can KILL the client due to the chiroquacker unqualification and uneducated, ergo chiroquackery being PROHIBITED by law to manipulate the cervical spine and to have a disclaimer STATING they have NO qualifications in health.
@transtlantic now what about the 800,000 deaths per year attributed to medical and pharmacy mistakes? I guess that is okay because they did scientific studies to support the use of their drugs. ...not good science no matter how you slice it. My father is one of the most highly rated scientists in the pharmaceutical industry and has over 30 drug device patents.... and he at 73 tells everyone to stay away from medicine! Your transdermal patch was invented by him.
@transtlantic yes no doubt medicine saves lives in emergencies and cases of neglect I love what they do when needed. I tell all my patients to go the hospital after the car wreck get sewed up then come to me to restore your health. Both of us are needed. Chiropractors do Health Maintenance MD's do ER care. My sources are your AMA and the American Pharmaceutical and Hospital Assoc. My brother is a pharmacist and sees the over-worked pharmacists make mistakes that kill people all the time.
@DConWheelsLLC in emergencies? lol... what about elective surgery? or dermatological conditions? obstetrics? gynecology? you sure are ignorant.
you don't have patients. you have clients who choose to go to a massage therapist.
you can't restore anyone's health - fact.
you can't do health maintenance. you don't have the qualifications. and you can't perform ER care. maybe basic life support. but so can the janitor who did the 2 day course.
@transtlantic No health is inherent but the flow of health can be temporarily blocked I have seen this thousands of times apparently you have not. Lucky you. Chiropractors remove the blockage so full health flows normally. By the way elective surgery is not health care it is "elective" by definition. I don't do surgery because I chose not to but have associates that work in ER's around the country. A friend of mine has done only ER CHIRO work in a war zone of a hospital and they love him!
@DConWheelsLLC "flow of health"? that means jack shit. health isnt a "flow". that's just magic thinking by your part.
"thousands of times"? who cares about what an unqualified moron thinks he is seing? a fool can see whatever he thinks for thousands of times and yet be wrong in all.
"remove the blockage"? what blockage?
elective surgery IS health care. read the definition of health care. elective means: programmed.
dumbfuck
"choose not to"? nope. because you are not qualified. you are ignorant
@transtlantic its real he is in Newark NJ, another in NYC, and I am sure there are others but I just haven't met those doctors. My friend in Newark has been there for over 15 yrs now and the MD's enjoy his help and respect his results as a colleague not a subordinate...something your arrogance has blinded you to to explore. Anyone can see you with all your "science is king" rhetoric shoot yourself in the foot with every sentence you type. You loose all credibility, no MD I know would listen
@DConWheelsLLC "he is in newark"? no he isn't. your bullshit stories are as good as me saying that he isn't.
"there are others"? fucking where? there are none.
you are full of shit. chiroquackers can't work in ERs, wait...they can work as janitors, not as chiroquackers. now i get it what you mean when you say your friend "works there", lolol.
shoot myself? dumbfuck...where the heck is ONE single study supporting chiroquacker over placebo?
hint: zero. credibility? LOLOL i just care for facts
@transtlantic, I have been to chiropractors because the medical doctors couldn't do anything to help me. They wanted me to take pills. I went to a chiropractor who treated me. He cured my back. So take your placebos and stuff them up your ass you fucking quack. AND NO you don't. You don't give a shit about facts. You're a fucking loud mouth 3rd world ignoramus shithead who dumps the shit out of bedpans for a living.
@transpedophile, I have been halfway around the world all four directions asshole. I have seen things you'll never imagine. You're just an idiot teenager with a big assed mouth and a liar. STFU
@chiropractic47 yes, everyone take a deep breath and put the egos on the bench. I have never seen so much emotional profanity spouted in public by "professionals" before. What service to the people that are reading these debates (that we all in our own ways are trying to help) does this serve?
@DConWheelsLLC Admittedly it's sad when not on this forum, we bestow our energies to objectivity for the people we serve. I'm cool unless translantic posts his self effacing attempts to condecend....then all bets are off.
There you go buddy, the science of tramadol----Increased suicide risk,re makers of the med, and FDA. Feel good med of the decade, righ?, until you want to kill yourself? Is that the science youre getting behind. Please, transgender, and the 500 pv per day guy, dont take tramadol. Emotional side effects may be the last straw....just kidding, but seriously, lets be a bit easier with each other. The message is getting lost.
tramadol is a pain killer with central action. it might affect judgment capacity. and the problem you are mentioning is due to it being an opioid drug. meaning it can cause addiction and "increased suicide risk", etc can be seen in any other drug that has a central action effect (direct or indirect).
either way, when well used it's one of the best pain killers in the market for severe pain.
i prefer Fentanyl instead of tramadol. more well known and adverse effects more controlable.
The video has a bias. Studies show Spinal manipulation is more effective than the author implies. However, when it comes to judging chiropractic doctors, I agree 90% with c0nc0rdance. Chiropractic is it!
chiropractic47 1 month ago
@C0nc0rdance_Your logic & rhetoric SUCK! Changing the subject doesn't negate my very truthful statements above. Damage is done to trusting patients by mainstream medicine including the horrid side-effects of pharmaceuticals, many treatments used & unnecessary surgical procedures, etc. Sometimes you need a mainstream dr., & sometimes you need an acupuncturist, etc. You're studying rhetoric & logic aren't you, you're not a real doctor are you, they're supposed to be open minded!
Pheromone2U 1 month ago
@Pheromone2U the benefits of evidence based medicine most often far outweighs the harm. but of course the question put to you by concordance, in fact, eloquently refutes any ambiguous claim made by you.
what scientifically demonstrative benefits attributed to Chinese medicine can you enlighten us with?
i will assume, you are a pro homeopathy, pro tea leaf reading, pro reincarnation, pro hollow earth, pro homoreptilian since you are so open minded and all....
scottpastry 5 days ago
@Pheromone2U He is open minded. He gathers the evidence then makes a judgement based on that evidence. How do you define open minded? I only ask because you said sometimes people need an acupuncturist which leads me to believe you will believe anything.

@C0nc0rdance The type of food(s) that people are ingesting these days that are contaminated with chemicals are shortening everyones life. There are still people out there that are living over 100 years old.
vietdude1979 5 days ago
@vietdude1979
Why do you think that is?

@Pheromone2U There is no such thing as "alternative medicine" There is only medicine that works, or medicine that doesn't. How Concordence comes across as arrogant is beyond me, his videos are in my opinion very reasonable. You though sound like a conspiracy theory nut, and upon checking your channel I found out I was right. Please go back to your pseudo science therapies, perhaps you will find a cure for your blindness.

can chiropracticks align a spine or not??? i have a crooked cervicle vertebra thats causing a tilt in my shoulders thats limiting my use of right arm. is that what chiropractors do?
kt10585 4 months ago
@kt10585
I would strongly suggest you see a medical doctor specializing in orthopedics. Have them check you out and discuss your symptoms. Ask them about whether chiropractic is a good treatment modality for your condition. In many cases, they may recommend physical therapy or chiropractic, and they can help locate the best options.
I hope you feel better soon.

TheDCwife 5 months ago 2
@TheDCwife
C0nc0rdance 5 months ago
@C0nc0rdance well, they're still useful as masseuses right?

@TheDCwife The premiums are lower because in very large part they do NOTHING. The premiums for shakra adjustments are probably pennies a year.
edwdixon5 1 month ago
It's too bad this video couple is designed as a hit piece against a medicine which has gained international attention and validity over decades of research. Though it was a good thought to throw a couple of crumbs to sound "balanced" (i.e. many MDs at the same time period were also making crazy claims), it was blatantly omissive of modern science in the field. I agree with the freedom of speech bit - nearly everything else was biased, deceptive, and wrong.
neonsilkworm 5 months ago
@neonsilkworm No, almost everything chiropractic represents is complete supernatural bullshit. Chiropractors remind me of salesmen not medical doctors and they'll try to treat ANYTHING.
urantivirus 4 months ago
@urantivirus So you're ok with medical doctors killing 225,000 Americans/year via errors and medications? Go Chiropractic!
chiropractic47 4 months ago
@chiropractic47 You're right, placebos are much safer.
urantivirus 4 months ago
@urantivirus Though many major international studies have validified chiropractic and it to be the most effective means to address the spine and nervous system; rather give a placebo than kill someone. Touche! Viva chiropractic!
chiropractic47 4 months ago
@chiropractic47 I do think chiropractic can help back problems and other various related problems, it's when chiropractors want to treat babies or my asthma that I start to call bullshit. If you are only concerned with the first part I mentioned, I don't have anything against what you do. Most chiropractors I've met would gladly try to treat anything.
urantivirus 4 months ago
@urantivirus Er, it's mainstream and well accepted that chiropractic is both more effective and safer than drugs for asthma and allergies. Pediatrics is the fastest growing segment of chiropractic. Man! Are you really behind the times. Wake up "urantivirus"!
chiropractic47 4 months ago
@chiropractic47 I see, then I go back to my previous statement. Quack quack quack.
You can't con me, your work is for the idiots out there who don't know better. There is no science behind what you do, if there was it would be covered by my country's healthcare. I know people who tried to treat asthma with chiropractic work because they believed in chiropractors. They don't believe in it anymore. The treatment only worked when they continued taking medication.
urantivirus 4 months ago
@urantivirus Wow, too bad...you resort to labeling the medical profession as "quacks". Though medicine is maiming anf killing millions each year outside the emergency room, it's very necessary "in" the emergency room. Both chiropractic and medicine are necessary when applied in the correct fashion. Remember...Chiropractic first, drugs second, surgery last. Be well my fair "quacking duck".
chiropractic47 4 months ago
@urantivirus Chiropractors don't "TREAT" anything, that's what m.d.'s do! Medical doctors only prescribe medications to cover up symptoms and cut out organs if they aren't working right! If you knew anything about the nervous system you would understand that without a healthy one your body cannot and will not function properly! Educate yourself before you make such statements! By the way, when was the last time you were prescribed a placebo????? I would really like an answer to that one!
TheDCwife 4 months ago
@TheDCwife You sound like you're been brainwashed by your husband. Doctors do treat symptoms, a lot of medication can cure. I'd like to see a chiropractor treat an asthma attack. I think you don't know shit about the nervous system if you think the nervous system is the #1 way to keep people healthy. Doctor's don't need to prescribe me placebos, because they have real medicine that works. Real doctors only use placebos to test medication or to see if someone is really sick. They dont con people.
urantivirus 4 months ago

Yes I could have went to med school or chiropractic college I chose Chiropractic college over med school, hence "if I we desired...". You really don't understand how to communicate that well do you? I am sad for you.
DConWheelsLLC 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC
moron... you don't have the intelligence required to even pass the exams required to enter med school.
hence even if you desired you would never be able to accomplish such desire.
i do understand how to communicate, that's why i am telling you to be realistic: you are JUST an uneducated dumbfuck. you are a chiroquacker, because con crap is all that you can do to try fool yourself and others.
transtlantic 9 months ago
@transpedophile, YOU don't have the intelligence to enter med school. REMEMBER? "all horses are born black?" HAR HAR HAR DUMBSHIT
JackSShit 9 months ago
@transtlantic no, med school exams were no problem. chiro just made more sense to me. I've seen blind people see, lumbar stenosis patients walk, blood pressure drop and stay down, colic stop in minutes post adjustment, ear ache pain stop in minutes post adjustment, people walk out that were carried in so much pain. all these things with no drugs or surgery. So why put something into a "system' that doesn't need it? Sure I have also seen people take weeks to respond as well but it all works
DConWheelsLLC 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC Arguing with this dumb lying mutherfukker is a waste of your time. You don't need to defend chiropractic medicine to the dumshit. He won't understand it. My whole family and many friends have been cured of back injuries by chiropractics. My wife's was in a car wreck and a friend was also in a car wreck and he went to the same one and was cured. My chiropractor taught my wife how to manipulate my back so that I didn't have to come see him. It all works. Trans is an idiot.
JackSShit 9 months ago
@JackSShit . Not arguing or at least trying not to. Debate is always good... and just imagine how many others are reading our "back and forth". So when you talk online remember you are not just talking to the the other poster, you are talking (teaching) the world! So be on your best and don't lose you cool, no reason for slander or profanity that never shows your best side. I know there are millions out there like you with great chiro stories... keep sharing others need to hear YOU!
DConWheelsLLC 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC
you are hardly teaching the world...i've been asking to present evidence that chiroquacker is better than a sugar pill for quite some time now...and still no evidence presented.
btw... don't you see a pattern? creationist trolls (uneducated by obvious observation) support you! while EVERYONE with an education disaproves chiroquackery and creationism!

JackSShit 9 months ago
@JackSShit
you mean the steve bee that blocked and deleted every single peer-reviewed scientific paper that proved his videos wrong? Lol... yeah...that one. i am sure he fears me. lolol
Joe Mark is a qualified expert on a scientific field. steve is a retired failed dentist... uhm....
lolol
when have i ever lost anything against you?
i just have to post this:
PLoS Genet. 2010 Apr 29;6(4):e1000929.
Genetic tests for ecological and allopatric speciation in anoles on an island archipelago.
transtlantic 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC, JoeMarkLawson complains about chiropractics because it got some of its beginnings from spiritualism. I do see that as a problem, but JoeMark, fails to see that as a problem with evolution. Darwin was mixed up in witchcraft and most all the founders and promoters of evolution were involved in spiritualism. None of them were real scientists. NONE, but JoeMark doesn't find this as a problem with that side of his outrageous views, but suddenly he uses it to question chiropractics.
JackSShit 9 months ago
@JackSShit

DConWheelsLLC 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC
what about the 6,5 billion lives saver per year attributed to medical and pharmacy action?
the point here is that mistakes happen in any profession. btw... i doubt your number. sources? oh right: none.
would you prefer NO studies to be done in order to use drugs? damn... you are retarded.
Good science: test everything.
your bullshit story fools no one. your father is probably a janitor.
"stay away from medicine"? be my guest. next time you have an accident, just pray.
transtlantic 9 months ago
@transtlantic yes no doubt medicine saves lives in emergencies and cases of neglect I love what they do when needed. I tell all my patients to go the hospital after the car wreck get sewed up then come to me to restore your health. Both of us are needed. Chiropractors do Health Maintenance MD's do ER care. My sources are your AMA and the American Pharmaceutical and Hospital Assoc. My brother is a pharmacist and sees the over-worked pharmacists make mistakes that kill people all the time.
DConWheelsLLC 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC in emergencies? lol... what about elective surgery? or dermatological conditions? obstetrics? gynecology? you sure are ignorant.
you don't have patients. you have clients who choose to go to a massage therapist.
you can't restore anyone's health - fact.
you can't do health maintenance. you don't have the qualifications. and you can't perform ER care. maybe basic life support. but so can the janitor who did the 2 day course.
i know of chiroquackers who kill people.
transtlantic 9 months ago
@transtlantic You trying to peddle your drug ideology with this nice doc?
chiropractic47 9 months ago
@transtlantic No health is inherent but the flow of health can be temporarily blocked I have seen this thousands of times apparently you have not. Lucky you. Chiropractors remove the blockage so full health flows normally. By the way elective surgery is not health care it is "elective" by definition. I don't do surgery because I chose not to but have associates that work in ER's around the country. A friend of mine has done only ER CHIRO work in a war zone of a hospital and they love him!
DConWheelsLLC 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC Way to go for your armed services DC friend.
chiropractic47 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC "flow of health"? that means jack shit. health isnt a "flow". that's just magic thinking by your part.
"thousands of times"? who cares about what an unqualified moron thinks he is seing? a fool can see whatever he thinks for thousands of times and yet be wrong in all.
"remove the blockage"? what blockage?
elective surgery IS health care. read the definition of health care. elective means: programmed.
dumbfuck
"choose not to"? nope. because you are not qualified. you are ignorant
transtlantic 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC associates who work in ER's? chiroquackers? doubt it.
ER chiro? that is nonexistent.
war zone? where? kenya? LOLOLOL
you sure are stupid. btw...still no study showing chiro better than a placebo, dumbfuck.
transtlantic 9 months ago
@transtlantic its real he is in Newark NJ, another in NYC, and I am sure there are others but I just haven't met those doctors. My friend in Newark has been there for over 15 yrs now and the MD's enjoy his help and respect his results as a colleague not a subordinate...something your arrogance has blinded you to to explore. Anyone can see you with all your "science is king" rhetoric shoot yourself in the foot with every sentence you type. You loose all credibility, no MD I know would listen
DConWheelsLLC 9 months ago
@DConWheelsLLC "he is in newark"? no he isn't. your bullshit stories are as good as me saying that he isn't.
"there are others"? fucking where? there are none.
you are full of shit. chiroquackers can't work in ERs, wait...they can work as janitors, not as chiroquackers. now i get it what you mean when you say your friend "works there", lolol.
shoot myself? dumbfuck...where the heck is ONE single study supporting chiroquacker over placebo?
hint: zero. credibility? LOLOL i just care for facts
transtlantic 9 months ago
@transtlantic, I have been to chiropractors because the medical doctors couldn't do anything to help me. They wanted me to take pills. I went to a chiropractor who treated me. He cured my back. So take your placebos and stuff them up your ass you fucking quack. AND NO you don't. You don't give a shit about facts. You're a fucking loud mouth 3rd world ignoramus shithead who dumps the shit out of bedpans for a living.

chiropractic47 9 months ago
@chiropractic47 yes, everyone take a deep breath and put the egos on the bench. I have never seen so much emotional profanity spouted in public by "professionals" before. What service to the people that are reading these debates (that we all in our own ways are trying to help) does this serve?
DConWheelsLLC 9 months ago

The message is getting lost.
joe16522 9 months ago
@joe16522
tramadol is a pain killer with central action. it might affect judgment capacity. and the problem you are mentioning is due to it being an opioid drug. meaning it can cause addiction and "increased suicide risk", etc can be seen in any other drug that has a central action effect (direct or indirect).
either way, when well used it's one of the best pain killers in the market for severe pain.
i prefer Fentanyl instead of tramadol. more well known and adverse effects more controlable.
