You can just turn up and fish. As far as I know it is open 24h a day. Its usually not very crowded, so there is no need to make a reservation. If you call the owners, they might arrange a free hotel pick-up for you. Tight Lines dude !

i was gona hire a bike and ride down from chewang is it far? and is ther a good chance of catching? thanks for the info
It is maybe a 20min drive from Chaweng. But the lake is pretty hard to find if you dont know the area, so you better take a taxi (maybe 10 USD / way).
You will definitely catch fish. I recommend you fish the big pond and go for the fat ones :)
