This is when FOX was just starting up. It still felt like an independent station because it didn't have a lot of original programming at the time. FOX from 1986-until like 1995 or so was the best.
Now they play nothing but pure garbage like American Idol, Family Guy, Malcolm in the Middle etc etc etc and lame judge shows in the morning/afternoon hours.
I agree. I miss the independent stations; wpix and wnyw. They used to show reruns of classic shows and classic cartoons. Now all they show is judge and talk shows. How many Court shows do we really need anyway?

I hail from Newark, New Jersey although I currently reside in Miami, Florida. WNYW-TV 5 was, is, and always will be my home Fox O&O station.
