I had one of these. It worked fine for 2 years and 3 months then stopped. It just worked for 39 secs then stops. Hopeless. I bought an inverter as it was recommended because of this inverter technology but just 2 years!!! My last microwave - another panasonic convection combination, lasted for 12 years.
Now I have a new Panasonic inverter and it fogs up and drips water all down the front of the counter. Rubbish.
My 2005 Inverter had an annoying habit of accumulating smelly water under the turntable until I fixed it with sheet metal and glue. The "Genius" feature is almost completely useless; you can't count on it unless you follow their recipes. What's needed it a "temp hold" feature to simmer leftovers without letting them boil over; the Inverter microwave can't do that. Most of the other "features" (except than the now-ubiquitous popcorn button) are total gimmicks. Panasonic could have done better.
@MrJackanthony I guess I was hoping Panasonic (or other microwave makers) would notice some of these complaints (directly or by word of mouth) and address them in their future offerings. I'm still a little annoyed that the temperature probes that used to be standard on microwaves have been replaced with a collection of nearly useless gimmicks. I only posted them on videos for which the subject was relevant.
