VTR250 0-100km/h

I do like these 250s, but I am surprised it seemed quite slow. I'd expect 8s at the most. Check the valve clearances and carburetor balance.

I used to own a '93 bandit 250 and currently own a 2008 VTR 250..the VTR is noticeably slower cos of having only two cylinders as opposed to the four on the Bandit (or the CBR 250, Ninja 250 etc) but it's a joy to ride...And since the bike itself is very light the riders weight can give different riders a different time on the 100KM run...with a bit more aggressive shifts I'm sure you can get there quicker

i ride a vfr 800 got to love honda and i think these look fantastic look alot like ducati monsters but hey for a starter bike fantastic option to a 250 ninja or cbr 250 not everyone wants a race replica look alike or a plain looking commuter

I got 100 in about 7 secs with my ninja 250R, that vtr cant be so slow as showed in the vid

with my dads vtr 250 2009 version i did o-100kmh in less than 7seconds.maybe because of my weight

Yep, in NSW (Australia) we're given a list of Learner Approved Motorcycles. Due to the fact that once you get your full licence you generally sell the crap bike you bought and buy something bigger, the scheme is pretty shit. If your not smart enough to take it as a learner, well thats Darwinism.
