  • I have a mock trial in my Personal Law Class in my high school. I am defending in a "rape trial" and the prosecuting attorney is an idiot. I just wanted to ruin his day even more with this. >:)

  • the voice sounds like arthur miller

  • Hold that prosecutor in contempt of court!

  • aww, i thought this was a phoenix wright video... jk XD

  • i was supposed to press yes DURRRRRR!!!

  • Judge Joe Brown ten years from now.

  • why must you turn this courtroom into a house of lies?

  • I just sent a link to this to a rookie lawyer friend that I met on GameFAQs.

The prosecutor is either an idiot or thinks that you are and will let bad questions through.

  • I've played this game before and I'd strongly recommend taking a screen shot of the controls. You can't look at the controls again while playing and since there are numerous keys to press (some of which make no sense at all), it's good to have something you can refer to during the game.

  • also, what an insane game.

  • yayyy!! lateblt!! super excited to see u again!

  • You don't want to know what Google Images returned for Sandra Stiff. O_o

Actually, I must say again that I was delighted.

  • I just Google Imaged Ashley S. Lipson, Esq. and the first 3 hits were of Katy Perry in an Esquire photo shoot.

I must say I was delighted.

  • I was too! I Googled Katy Perry, and I liked it! :D

  • Ohh I see what you did there. ;-)

  • Congrats on passing the bar, Scott

  • Thanks, guys :)

  • Oh man, I studied for and took (and somehow passed) the bar exam this summer. One sixth of the multiple choice questions are on evidence. I can't believe anyone would think a game about this would be fun! It's good to see you guys back, but not like this *repressing memories of this summer* :)

Btw, leading questions are not allowed on direct (questioning your own witness) but can be used on cross - at least in federal courts (US).

  • Congratulations! And thanks for the information. :)

  • Haven't heard you guys in a long time.

  • You 2 are the best LPers on youtube/the whole world! :D

  • good to hear from you again!

  • Sorry, when Isaid "I'ts pretty ..." in my previous comment, Iwas supposed to write "It's pretty Good ..." :P

And it is, judging from the video ^_^

  • Yeah, let's go for a real attorney simulator, not that punk in a blue suit, red tie and golden badge :P

Well, I love phoenix wright, and I'm curious about this other game, It's pretty according to I've heard, so thumbs up for this choice ^_^

  • The only thing I could think of when it said she was stabbed with scissors was Scissorman from the Clock Tower series... XD

  • Welcome back you guys. So very happy to hear your voices again. :)

  • Lateblt, it's good to see you begin another round of videos. I enjoy watching your many "Let's Play" series.

It's good to hear Hercrabbiness with you again. Keep the good times rolling. :)

  • Welcome back! :)

  • Hercrabinesssss ;)

  • awesomesauce

  • LOL @ the end...

"But your honor... my lawyer pressed the wrong key!"

"Whaaat?! You DARE speak freely in MY courtroom?!?!"

"No, no... he... he pressed the 'Y' key instead of..."

"It's immaterial and irrelevant! If you speak again, you'll be held in contempt!"

"IT WAS LATEBLT'S FAAAAULLLT!!!! *sob* *sob* *sob*..."

Come to think of it... I'm getting hungry, and a late BLT sounds damn good. Now I just have to figure out if it's BEFORE or AFTER 7:00am... :D

  • "Object because of too many tags".

    Oh, you.

Glad to see you're alive, though I haven't actually commented on your videos before. I've been watching your old ones and they are made of much enjoyment.

  • Hey, LateBlt, is it true that you are a terrible lawyer?

  • This question is PROPER. Wait, no, it's LEADING... Or maybe it's HEARSAY because it's based on what people say on YouTube. JOBECTION!

  • Your answer deserves partial credit.

  • Objection!

  • Overruled.

  • OBJECTION!

...I was hoping to come up with a suitalbe comment while objecting. I didn't.

  • That's an interesting game, I wonder if the Phoenix Wright series based any of their idea on this one? I mean, the "challenging evidence" bit seems similar to this...

  • I wouldn't be surprised if there was some inspiration, but then, this game is so heavily based on actual courtroom procedure that it's most likely that Phoenix Wright simply based its gameplay on the real world.

  • Ah, so you decided to use the Turtle card after all?

But yes, I'm sure all your fans will agree with me, good to see you posting. ^^

  • Actually I haven't tried the card yet; I kind of cheated with this video. Since I'm not playing the sound in the game, I just did "Record from microphone" instead of "Record from speakers." It works. ^_^

  • Oh you rebel you.

Does this crappy soundcard not even have a stereo mix or a What you hear setting?

    Dodgy indeed.

  • I typically get by using a virtualized audio device (specifically, using "Virtual Audio Cable") since Windows 7 doesn't quite like letting me capture audio output normally (mainly stemming from no Win7-compatible drivers for the onboard audio). from there, it's just setting up the speakers to "listen" to the Virtual Audio Cable. Additionally, I can rig up the Virtual Audio Cable (both a "speaker" and a "recorder") itself to also pick up the microphone input. the sound lag is negligible at worst.

  • Wow its been awhile, good to see you two back.
