I really enjoyed these lovely pics of our beautiful city.When I saw these trees on George St. it made me realise how much the city has changed...for better or for worse.The music was nice as well...made me homesick!
I don't know why everyone is saying that everyone is mean. I lived there for a year and a half (I'm American) and I never was mocked or laughed at. and I'm pretty sure you could've told I was American
lived there for 5 years, never had one bad moment from the locals. though perhaps if they were cursing me in doric i was unaware! i love the place. rather live there than here any day.
I guess people have different experiences with this city. I have lived here but never had any problems with the locals. Or maybe because things are a little different in the 90s.
@santa02productions Are you ashamed of yourself? It's a shame you can't be proud of your own heritage. If you think Aberdonian is a thing of the 18th century, you are mistaken. You can't be truly happy in life if you're ashamed of where you come from.
I just got back from a tour of Scotland. I saw all of the major cities except for Aberdeen. After seeing these beautiful photos, I have to return to see it in person!

Aberdeen appears depressing, it being grey and granite, but the people here are nice. And you cant go wrong if you are nice to them.
