There actually is a trick to doing this, after you input the two light punches you can do the rest of the inputs at the same time to make it quicker and easier.

DON'T LISTEN TO THIS GUY. If you're having trouble with this insanely easy move, remember this: You can press the last three inputs all together. This makes the move easier AND faster to pull off. The best way to do it is: LP,LP(4+HP+LK). That's the ONLY useful thing you need to know to pull this move off easily, this guy made a video about it and doesn't know it.

Step1: Learn how to do something properly.

Step2: Make a tutorial video.

People have different controller set up mates. Just say what the commands are and then show it. Light Punch Light Punch Back(away from the opponent) Light Kick Heavy punch. and bam there you go. but wtf was akuma sayin in english.

The problem with akuma's ultra for me...is not enough moves to tie it in...it's either an air attack --> ultra or focus --> ultra, such a pain when i accidently hit em with a weak punch and they jump outta the way...

2. Practice Ultra

if any1 is still having problems doin dis combo dnt watch dat cuz same fng happened 2me i cudnt do it and i cud hit da bottoms fast as well, wat i did with out knowin i jus tried doin it online and it worked. then went bak 2 trainin mode and now i do it all da tym and tapin slow work!, it mite of been my game but i fink u have 2 unlock it 1st. I believe Akuma's ultra is the easiest to pull off (not the easiest to read and figure out by looking at the command list though). On the down side, it is the easiest to block/move away from.

Interesting in how ironic Akuma is. That kanji on his back is the symbol of "ten" or "heavenly/sky" yet his name in Japanese means "devil". I hear those symbols on his ultra mean "one instance, one thousand strikes."

But as far as in game Akuma is a tight character to play, superb offense, easy to attack plans, and the air fireball that helps in sticky situations.

I don't like his defense or how he gets dizzied so quickly. thats the flaw i find with most Akuma players, most don't know how to play him. Pretty much an easy victory.

depends on how u use him if u make good use of his teleport and fire balls then u can get out of most situations, but where I think akuma truly falls flat is his health actually truly sucks and his ultimate is like a 1/10 chance of hitting most of the time, even if u do it perfectly u can still end up just pushing them back and giving them a chance to counter especially against some one like ken or cammy I avidly use akuma all the time and even came in third at a 32 man tournament.
