Diana is scheduled to do the "Barber" at the met next season with Thomas Brownslee and OMG, SAMUEL RAMY as Bassilio! They MUST do a DVD of that! Start bombarding the met now demanding they make up for giving the Lucia dvd to Netrebko over Damrau and even Dessay. Hopefully they will get it right this time.

I don't think they will make a DVD because if I'm not mistaken it is the same production she already sung in, and Joyce DiDonato was filmed in it. Anyway, we'll get lots of Diana thingies pretty soon :)

As much as I LOVE you for all of the "Diana thingies" you find and post for us, I sincerely hope you are wrong in this. DiDonato is wonderful but as I know you will agree, there is NO ONE like our Diana and so little of her work is available on DVD so far. You seem to have the inside track to "Diana-world" so I'm looking forward to "lots more Diana Thingies pretty soon." Just please not only in the PAL format, PLEASE?

I can't wait to get this CD! I just love her!

My only criticism about this track is "I want high notes" more than just one staccato high F (as she's singing the aria the key of F) The aria is beautifully vocalized with a delightfully playful quality showing a true understanding of the character and text which I MOST certainly appreciate.

I just wanted to hear some "higher" variations.

Again, CAN'T WAIT to buy the entire CD!!!!
