Hashomer Hatzair (The Young Guard), Dror, Betar etc. These movements were very much pro Jewish immigration to Palestine (as today's Israel was known at the time). Co do prawa to generalnie się zgadzam. Mała uwaga - nie napisałem "się pogodzić" tylko "to pogodzić" . "Się pogodzić" oznaczałoby że grupy w tym przypadku etniczne, religijne itp. łatwiej godziłyby się niż teraz, co często nie następowało. "To pogodzić" czyli wspólne życie tych grup w jednym państwie bez większego komplikowania rzeczywistości (tak jak np. teraz jest (podobno, sam nie byłem) we Francji,
gdzie dochodzi do absurdów w ramach realizacji świeckiego państwa). Problemy oczywiście wtedy były i to oczywiste, że na prowincji animozje mogły być bardziej widoczne.
PS: Kiedyś babcia opowiadała mi, że jeszcze w latach 60-tych XX wieku jak świadkowie jechowy szli przez wieś to ludzie za nimi rzucali kamieniami. W mieście byłoby to nie do pomyślenia.

You did make a claim of "perennial pogroms". What else does your statement of "every year" mean? And your statement about "your people" is really presumptuous. I am Jewish and have lived and traveled throughout Poland. There are a couple nationalist parties that are antisemitic but I never encountered it. In fact, Jewish studies were the trendiest of fields to study at the university I attended there. You are the one who is filled with hatred, Not the Poles.

There were many Jewish youth movements in Poland pre-war. Hashomer Hatzair (The Young Guard), Dror, Betar etc. These movements were very much pro Jewish immigration to Palestine (as today's Israel was known at the time). A number of Hashomer Hatzair's members were involved in the Warswa Ghetto uprising, including Mordechai Anilewicz.

I suppose the safe harbor and invitation of Polish kings going back to Kazimierz the great qualify as hatred as well? His ideological rival, Dmowski was antisemitic though. There were times that Jews were kept from living in certain Warsaw districts as well. It is important to remember though that through much of this history Poland was not an independent state.

Also, Jews were often members (incl. officers) of Polish military formations as Armia Krajowa and fought in Warsaw Uprising. Jedwabne is a very tragical even, but not all Poles were like that. chodzi o to że dlaczego był holocaust? ponieważ żydów było za dużo, ich ilość była wręcz zachwiana, a europa miała tego dosyć, i to jest normalne, tak samo by było jakby polacy w każdym europejskim mieście stanowili 40-50%. i to czeka arabów, za 10-30 lat czeka nas kolejna wojna tylko że tym razem to będzie holocaust arabów, to jest niestety normalne ale z tego powodu by dana kultura nie zanikła musi się bronić. tylko usa jest krajem mieszanką i im to pasuje, bo to kraj bez historii.

Easter when the hatred of Jews would peak & no Jew would dare be seen out on the streets for fear of being beaten of worse. Not to mention that after the Holocaust, Jews were still subject to anti-Semitism & pogroms. Does the Kielce Pogrom of July 1946, in which 40 Jews were killed, ring a bell? @Wizna1939r ale żeby nie być niesprawiedliwym, nie potępiam równo w czambuł wszystkich endeków; bo co by nie mówić o antysemickich fobiach pana Dmowskiego, to jednak zrobił on wiele dla Polski w czasie Traktatu Wersalskiego, bo był - jeszcze - niezłym dyplomatą. Później mu się pokręciło z tym "Obozem Wielkiej Polski", widzeniem szansy dla Polaków w Rosji (nieważne, że sowieckiej, która dokonała w 1920 napaści na Polskę) i szukaniem wrogów wśród Żydów.

Ludzie w tamtych czasach się cieszyli, byli zadowoleni z tego co mają, a kiedy trzeba było to byli poważni (nie tylko Ci Żydzi z filmu), a teraz dużo ludzi chodzą źli i myślą o kasie i o swojej dupie, mało kto się do kogoś na drodze uśmiechnie bo odbiorca pomyśli że debil czy co. Moja rodzina przed wojną żyła w Warszawie. Byli to Żydzi. Oglądając ten film mogłam na chwilę przenieść się w 'ich' świat, zobaczyć to co nigdy już nie wróci. Dziękuję za tą możliwość.

Kiedyś to prędzej można było to pogodzić, bo ludzie nie mieli aż tylu praw, co teraz. Teraz każdy powołuje się na różne przepisy o dyskryminacji czy jego prawach, wolnościach, co rodzi spore problemy i co najlepiej widać na przykładzie Francji. To jest właśnie ujemna strona wielokulturowości. Przed II wojną światową w zasadzie nikt się tak jak teraz ludźmi nie przejmował jak teraz.

Tam, gdzie istnieje silne sumienie, prawo nie jest potrzebne. Rozbudowane prawo zawsze demoralizuje.
Kiedyś łatwiej było się pogodzić? Może w Warszawie, gdzie Żydzi rzeczywiście byli zasymilowani, ale nie np na Litwie, gdzie wciąż stanowili odrębną, opozycyjną w stosunku do łacińskiej cywilizację.

Co do prawa to generalnie się zgadzam. Mała uwaga - nie napisałem "się pogodzić" tylko "to pogodzić" . "Się pogodzić" oznaczałoby że grupy w tym przypadku etniczne, religijne itp. łatwiej godziłyby się niż teraz, co często nie następowało. "To pogodzić" czyli wspólne życie tych grup w jednym państwie bez większego komplikowania rzeczywistości (tak jak np. teraz jest (podobno, sam nie byłem) we Francji,

Eee, co masz na myśli mówiąc że multikulturowa Polska byłaby lepsza ? Oczywiście, pomimo tego że moim celem jest państwo jednolite pod względem narodowościowym, wolałbym żyć w II RP. Problem jest też taki że multikulturalizm 70 lat temu był zupełnie inny niż ten dzisiejszy, gdzie leniwi imigranci żyją kosztem prawowitych mieszkańców.

@mure0sauvage Ja widzę na tym filmiku głównie przysłowiowe: "syf, brud i ubóstwo". Multikulturalizm się nie sprawdzał. Narody II RP za sobą zbytnio nie przepadały. Polacy trzymali krótko Ukraińców, Ukraińcy odpłacali się terroryzmem (a potem masakrą na Wołyniu). Postawy antysemickie nie były rzadkością (vide wyprawa myślenicka, getto ławkowe, artykuły w gazetach itd.), co karmiło antypolonizm tychże. Obecna III RP jest mimo wszystko o wiele lepszym miejscem do życia. Nie zapominajmy o tym.
