The fires in 1975 reached 700 degress, but did not cause explosion like noises to be heard. Flashes were seen in the towers prior to there collapse 20 to 30 stories below the impact areas. There is a difference bewteen the popping sound heard in fires and an explosions,

The problem with this is two fold. The first is that he simply made a claim based on what he thought he saw. There was literally zero evidence that was actually the case. Further, even if there was actual proof of this, it still proves exactly nothing other that the fires and resulting insulation and pressure from the rubble was hotter than realized.

And the Verizon building was heavily damaged in the WTC7 collapse.

Probably because outside of the fact there is no proven evidence of "molten steel", there was no evidence of thermite(which would have turned the building into the biggest roman candle in history) or explosives. Explosives have both a unique sound & leave unique damage when they're used, of which no evidence was found of them.
