Yep. I'm thinking about switching my skinning to engineering. I'm almost maxed LW, but don't have the funds you do to play with.

My first hunter, a dwarf was an engineer, and believe me it was more fun, but harder to level than LW. Rocket boots/Parachute cloak are awesome in pvp! Cables for a wipe save. I've been debating between eng and enchanting, but i think eng is the way to go for me as well.

you dont need gold at 41... ur earn enough money from questing..

at lv 41, just go quest and level ur character till u hit 58, once u hit 58 pay a mage to port u to shatrath, or go through the dark portal.

quest in hellfire till lv 63 then go to zangarmarsh till 64-65 then go to nagrand till 67 and shadowmoon till 68. Once ur lv 68 go to stormwind and take the boat to Northrend, then start questing there.

if u follow this and Just plain quest whenever u log on, ull be lv 80 in no time, and if u dont spend too much buying from AH, etc ull have a ton of gold.

The neat thing about wow professions is that you get to CHOOSE WHATEVER YOU WANT!

If you want to argue about what's the more fitting or efficient profession I'd say a real profession is better than sitting around in front of wow all day and producing nothing of any real value or use. So pick whatever you like, it wont make a difference in the big picture. :P
